What's the deal with Gundam characters being far younger than they look? Things like Zechs being 19 [for example] are difficult enough to get my head around, but there is no way in heck the impressively-bearded engineer guy and that other grey-haired man are only in their fifties.

Also, in reference to that new trailer- is that Kamille driving the jeep at the very beginning, or am I going nuts?

Or they'll just start a hate blogging of it to try and "prove" that it "sucks" by singling in on and developing extreme tunnel vision over the points that are the easiest to find reasons to hate on and start memes over (i.e Wolf's moving hair portion that looks like some sort of cybernetic implant, but will be forever taken now to be "real wolf ears" TM). Why should AGE be any different? I think you're giving these people way to much credit and assuming the possibility of an open mind where there is none.

Anyway that trailer was pretty gorgeous. I know things like kids holding pictures of their mothers at funerals and looking really sad really makes me think kiddie saturday morning cartoon as do the parts where a kid is hanging out with serious looking military men while talking about building weapons like Gundams with their best friends on trains. Super kiddie stuff right here.

Here's the thing, who cares what people on 4chan think I mean it's not like they where going to buy this in the first place, despite the apparent love that Gundam 00 is now getting it didn't exactly get high sales in America. Gundam hasn't had a hit series since G Gundam in 2002. If people want products aimed at them then they should buy the products that are aimed at them, and don't expect someone else to do it.

The trailer looks fantastic, I love the variety of character designs, and it has several intriguing ideas about the UE, and Wolf. With Akihiro Hino in charge of the story, I expect nothing but a fantastic story that can be enjoyed by anyone.

Well guys I'm sure there will be plenty of the usual hating regardless of how good the show is. If nothing else there seems to be a good number of UC fans who won't give anything else a shot and american anime fans in general can tend to be a bit neurotic about a show having any similarities to other works. So I think we can expect a fair bit of criticism for Gundam AGE no matter what I'm just hoping it's unwarranted.

And Gundam 00 isn't get that much praises on 4chan either. It's more half/half situation.
