I read some spoilers on a Japanese 2chan thread that has since been archived. Maybe a possibility that they were making shit up, but I will write some out.

Spoiler for summary:

Main baddie in this story is a Crimson Lord by the name Barometz (a reference to a sheep-plant) and his unnamed group that FH and others called them the Color Thieves.

As the name suggests, Barometz plants his spell in guise of plant seeds in various places which will grow into plants. These plants are indistinguishable from normal ones. When someone who possesses aggregated will came in contact with them would activate the spell which steal a portion of their prey's power/flame and sent it to Barometz himself. He can also share these power to buff his followers. In the end, the Color Thieves was destroyed by Yuji, his returned Tyrant, Dragon tail, and cannon Rinne (like what we saw in season 3 when Bal Masque attacked Tokyo Outlaw) and Shana who now can have Alastor manifested his body (or Quasi-Divine Body as described in the Dengeki Bunko trading card) knocked Barometz down with ease.

Brothers of the Maccabees also collapsed after the event of Amphitheater and from its ashes come the new group called the True Oracle, which now instead of a false oracle of Shaher, follows another god's... Alastor's words of punishing those who still kill humans in Xanadu. This was a strange turn of event which baffles both FH and Denizens alike.

So Barometz wasn't killed as expected. His followers were offered to surrender but no one did, so Barometz was the sole survivor.

It is revealed that the True Oracle was led by none other than Yuji himself. However, their functionalty wasn't as great as Bal Masque and would need more time to train them.

Also, it was mentioned that Chorde (the rings that were kept by Shana and Margery) was inscribed with multiple communication spells. They hope that someday they could contact each other (like how the ring Shana held had a reaction back in Hope short story).

Also forgot to mention that prior to the fight there was a meeting between Bel Peol and Shana and Sentia, as representatives of Denizens from the old world, FH and the Orderists. Yuji was supposed to participate but he went to meet with Wilhelmina, who, since arrival at Xanadu, never let him near Tendokyuu and Justus. The meeting wasn't smooth but Wilhelmina, rewarding him for the work he has been doing to bridge between humans and denizens, let him see Justus for the first time which moved Yuji a lot (as Justus is the proof of how humans and denizens can coexist) Yuji is determined to continue his path, with Shana by his side.

Does not anyone else comment on how even in Xanadu, these Flame Haze/ Guze Lord wars are still ongoing and people on both sides still die? Sure, people will be people but it's like everything in the old world was ultimately pointless. The stage just changed and the war became more mellow but it never really ended

The world is at peace but there are a few "terrorist" groups out there but so far the world is quite peaceful

and It should because if Shana can summon Alastor like nothing then who the fuck would even oppose

it's not about cowing them through firepower but really not being able to deal with the sentiments from the old world that is sad though. This is supposed to be some paradise where there's more than enough for everyone yet police actions and terror are still needed to keep everyone in line

Denizens who experienced the last war aren't the main problems now (except some person like Barometz in this latest story).

Most of the problem come from the Newcomers (those who arrive at Xanadu directly from the Crimson Realm). They've never been to human world so they don't feel the gravity of the law of do-not-eat-humans. And with Xanadu having plenty of Power of Existence in the air, these Newcomers abuse their power without knowing the consequence.

I just love the age of ebooks.

You can read SIV's first 50 pages here (click the button under the cover picture) before its eventual release on November.

This volume contains 7 stories; 2 of which were published in Dengeki Bunko Magazine (Amphitheater & Quiddity); another 3 were very short stories from limited leaflet/cards (Tangency, Dressing Well & Lucky Clothes).

Another 2 are newly written, Grasp and Locus.

First 50 pages covers Grasp and still ongoing.

Imagine the light novel/anime industry being so pathetic and lacking in creativity these days that they have to rely on old IPs and revive all of these old, completed stories. I think they are reviving Full Metal Panic too. I guess Haruhi doesn't count since that never ended and the author writes at a snail's pace

I'm so glad Zero no Tsukaima is safe from this, even though the reason is very sad.

Brothers of the Maccabee are now Yuuji's minions, but understandably they aren't as good as Bal Masque Barometz is an oldtimer Denizen (ie from Earth) As for the story's time period, one person thinks it has been 2 years since Shana/Yuuji stopped wearing school uniforms. I think in Hope, Yuuji said they would wear uniforms until old enough to graduate.

It's the story about Khamsin's past when he was a prince and encounter a Crimson Denizen whom was responsible for him becoming a Flame Haze. The story was once told by Khamsin to Yoshida in S3 through his personal view. While Locus' story has to wait until the book's release, Spoiler for we could guess from the image that: it's about a girl named Selena Lavdas, the human girl whose face reminds of Hecate. She was introduced in Encore, a short story from a guidebook: Shakugan no Shana no Subete Kan. Together with her is a young Justus in suits with Wilhelmina accompanying him. I wonder what's happening?
