That's Seo, though. He drags out the pace when it's depressing and rushes through it when good stuff comes around. It's been a major flaw in this series since it started. Very poorly balanced between the good and bad drama.

Hm? Why "speed up"? I see no expedited development?

It was Nanami who dumped him, so having her renew her "no" really is no unusual development. And the Asuka issue isn't exactly on the fast track either.

What surprised me most is that there were people believing in Haruto and Nanami ending. Any possibilities for this pairing ended when Haruto went to Tokyo. I agree, Seo is skipping some developments, especially when we compare it with Kazama arc, but on the other hand, he is not skipping anything important. Unless anyone here believes in Haruto and Asuka ending.

Yeah there was what a two month time skip between ch 101 and ch 102? I'm sure Haruto and Asuka grew closer in that imaginary time period we didn't get to see. So it's like one of them wham bam type of things...

Seeing Nanami again was very nice. Easily my favorite female in this series, for the obvious reasons, and i'm glad that she's still as strong as ever.

Taking this rule to extremes is what results in twelve-volume epic novels, lol. Sometimes a little telling is necessary. The fact that Seo skipped the Asuka development is probably a good indicator that she is not the end girl (as if that wasn't clear from the start).
