I'm not liking the turns this story is taking -_-
why cant it just go back to how it was before haruto left to live in tokyo.. I feel like the manga had such more emotion during those times than it does now.

Its not inferiority, he didn't back down when he challenged him for Yuzuki, its more like idolization. In any other circumstance you'd all be viewing Kazama as one of those sitcom feel-good figures, the kind of person who manages to press forward in the face of death, who has great dreams despite his condition, and full of infectious optimism. You don't need to feel bad about yourself to feel good about another person.

uh oh this pacing is not good for Asuka, it feel like Seo is trying to jam too much emotion in at one time and you know what that means. I approve wholeheartedly of the pairing because they compliment each other better than Haruto and Eba ever did. If Asuka knows whats best she should take Haruto far away from Tokyo a place where Eba would never think to look.

As others thought, I think I was fully expecting Eba to make an appearance at the grave. It would've made sense for her to go there, along with Haruto saying there's "certain things they have to do" first.

Let me clarify what I actually said, he did not ULTIMATELY back down, he did challenge him, you were obviously there. Was he in a bit too much awe, yes, but it passed, quickly and he didn't lose the respect he had for Kazama despite all that.

And god, you guys are all such a depressing bunch, lighten up already and enjoy it while it last, otherwise you'll make yourselves more miserable then the manga ever could.

Nope. I for one am still enjoying this title on a normal leveling, with no laughing at the plot involved.

I wanted to jump in here and say... I kinda lost track of what exactly I'm reading. I remember someone once mentioned something about the cover girl for this series, and then I realized what I'm reading...


This isn't "Yuzuki" or "Asuka" or "Nanami" or "Aneki", this is A Town Where You Live. And so what I really wanted to say... not really liking this town where Haruto lives

I think you may be the one thats becoming cynically depressing here, your the one going on about it.

Everyone expects something from everything, thats a given, whether we accept it or not, it's up to us and no one can do anything about that.
I mean it can be pretty obvious what to expect from this series at times.
We expect Eba to show up at some point and cause chaos within Haruto and Auska's relationship, that's exactly what we've been talking about.

Also I see nothing wrong with talking about "recycled characters" as that goes on in pretty much every manga and anime series there is.
