Wow, the animation is still as stunning as the first episode. I counted 39 key animators involved in this episode at the credits, that's quite a lot.

If they can keep up with this, this is surely a keeper.

u know, aside the obvious oppai and booty, but so far this is actually a decent sport anime (albeit the sport itself is kinda out there

The manga that this is based on is the same way. The author plays the sports cliche absolutely straight, so expect lots of training, character development, and rivals to overcome/befriend.

If something is attacked or denigrated by Kotaku, that alone is a good reason to like it.

After episode 2, I have to admit that I'm really enjoying Keijo. I was afraid that after setting up the ridiculous premise, the show would pretend to be a normal sports anime. But it's clearly no such thing and keeps piling on more and more ridiculous concepts. We're now safely in the comedy genre.

Not that it means there's going to be no plot or character development. Such things are still possible in a comedy.

So anyone wanna speculate on what happened to Ujibe Nagisa? I say she got dumped by her boyfriend and the next time she knew she became like that after stuffing herself with sweets for months. And then she realized her Keijo skills are still good anyway so she could serve as a teacher.

I thought the thinner version they showed was how everyone was imagining her as opposed to how she really looks. I mean, if you think about it, she's built like a rock, and agile enough to dodge 3 people attacking her. Her build is basically ideal when it comes to a sport centered around knocking your opponents off platforms.
