Looks like the greedy witch is going to side with Red Robe outside of the loop.
Robe-boy formed a contract with a primordial to get out, and upon it offering the same contract to everyone, Silverlake took it.
Well, just because they have a common goal doesn't necessarily mean they'll side together. Sivlerlake doesn't know who Red Robe is either and all.
But she does know the lich (sort of), so I guess that problem isn't actually much of a problem.

So it's the final loop for the temporary markers, and only Silverlake managed to succeed in their attempt to get out, leaving everyone else behind.
Meaning that one of Zorian's other ideas will have to work to get them out or everyone loses their memories; not that some of them seem to mind.
But now the gate is unbarred so despite the primordial's claims, it might be easier to get out regardless. But Silverlake's absence will also make it that much harder, since she was a key dimensionalism member.

Silverlake's not-so unexpected betrayal has a possibility of motivating the more reluctant loopers to leave the loop.
At least Alanic hates her guts so he'll probably decide to.

Also explains Robe's motivations, since he was trying to free this primordial inside the loop.
Pretty sure Panaxeth is the one imprisoned under Cyoria anyway.

Curious how useful their knowledge and predictions up until now will prove to be, and how much this knowledge will end up tripping them in other areas.

On the other hand, I'm really curious why Panaxeth said Zack was the 'enemy'. But given the circumstances, it's not really surprising that RR would decide to work with everyone on the invasion camp other than Zack.

Also, I guess Silverlake in the real world (if she's alive) might be an unlikely ally of the ZxZ. Her loop-version only turned because she is 'afraid of her own existence being duplicated', but since Panaxeth had to re-create her body in the real world with a death trigger, the real one would no doubt be at odds with this loop one.

Biggest problem they have right now is probably the Silverlake who escaped the loop. Unlike RR, she knows what she is up against. She can possibly assasinate the counterparts of the inner circle before they can even be brought into the loop. Z&Z are gonna have quite abit of trouble with her mostly due to her comprehensive knowledge of their plans.

She doesn't know though. Sure, she knows the identities of their group, but she doesn't have any idea whether they made it out of the loop or what their plans are. The whole circle was recruited for possible expertise in exiting the loop, not for what came after. Their abilities were not critical to the city's defense and can be replaced if Z&Z had to.

Maybe they floated some ideas among each other, but the invasion was never going to play out the same in reality. No plan survives first contact, and most of the routines they developed in the loop simply won't work with angels, demons, and time travelers all trying to stir the pot.

Pretty much how the latest chapter went. Some of the more seemingly obvious & predictable events come while some that doesn't makes one more wary (especially regarding a certain crone).

There really is some cruel irony with his 1st official real 'real' kill/murder...


Loved the last part with Kirielle as well. There's a lot to be concerned about but his heart really needs this.

^ Agreed. I have to say the final battle chapter felt a little rushed to me. It's like "build up, build up, build up, CONCLUDE EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE, done!" That said, I did enjoy the ending itself, as well as the epilogue, so I'm not complaining about the ending.
