Another Suggestions post!

Hi everyone! I'm semi-new, made a post a while ago asking for Anime/Manga, here I am again.

Manga/Anime I have liked:
GTO
Battle Royale
Love Hina
Mason Ikkoku
Chobits
Kare Kano

Are some examples. I'd prefer a light hearted Manga/Anime moreso along the lines of Love Hina/Kare Kano, a romance one preferably.

Thanks!

Hrm, there's two Negimas that come up: Negima!? and Mahou Sensei Negima!

Which one did you mean?

Going to respond just because you watched Maison Ikkoku.

Kimagure Orange Road is another romantic comedy. It was widely considered to be the rival to Maison Ikkoku.

Zero no Tsukaima might also be to your liking. It is also another romantic comedy in a fantasy setting with a bias towards sexual humor.

Strawberry Panic is a pretty good yuri romance....that is if you aren't fazed by yuri.

For something that is currently being aired, check out Spice and Wolf. Pretty good dialog and flirting scenes....even if she is a wolf goddess.

I also recommend DearS, Aa Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess!/Oh my Goddess!) and Zero no Tsukaima (The Familiar of Zero/The Zero's Familliar. Hell, if you're feeling dirty, Shuffle! might be good as well.

The Negima manga is horrible compared to Love Hina. I highly suggest you don't watch either of them.

Since you liked Chobits, you should try Card Captor Sakura. Also by Clamp, but
a) much better (which is good)
b) younger characters with no "serious" romance (probably bad, considering your taste)

For GTO:
I suggest Muteki Kanban Musume, which has a similar vein of humor.

Battle Royale:
I have not seen the anime, but I did read the book. I suggest Elfen Lied and Higurashi.

Maison Ikkoku:
Try Ranma 1/2 manga, also by Rumiko Takahashi (the richest woman in Japan). It is better than the anime, though the anime is also OK.

Funny how no one mentioned Ichigo 100%. That show is hilariously entertaining. And it has pretty girls, too. You can't go wrong. (The Ichigo 100% OVAs are excellent, as well.)

Clannad, definitely. This has got to be one of the funniest shows that I've ever seen. They didn't manage to include any of the romance in the game (it's coming up though), but they did manage to get all of the awesome humor. KyoAni's brilliant animation instead of CG stills just made it infinitely better. The humor is approachable too, you don't need anime knowledge or cultural knowledge to understand the jokes.

That's it. I am going to second this series (Oh well, my top five all-time favourite for now). Never give up if you start on Strawberry Panic!.
