And it's not just Allies. All factions can build over water. Every single map in the game will have water. Right now, it's like this: Soviets: Strong land Allies: Strong air Empire: Strong naval This is reinforced by their support powers making their respective armies stronger in those regards. |

Apoc isn't amphibious, but the Stingray (tesla-ship that turns into a walker on land) is.
Soviets most definitely will not suck though. The game doesn't *focus* on naval, but naval is definitely a large part of the game. Don't forget that Terror Drones are now amphibious = ) (yes, they will sink ships like they kill tanks) |

I can see it now, armies of Terror Drones lining the sea and the land. I wonder, since the Sky/Sea-Wing is amphibious, would a Terror Drone be able to latch onto one while underwater, and stay stuck if it were to emerge?
. . . . .That would be interesting, specially what happens if the Wing is destroyed in air, assuming this is possible.

I know that with the Tengus, if you get inside while they're in Mecha form, they cannot transform. |

An amusing article a friend linked to me: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/ea-games...news-2883.html

EA's pretty bad.
I'm on the Soviet campaign right now, taking over Japan. So far, it's pretty entertaining. It's dumb enough to have made me LOL several times, but that's the intended effect. Overall, and the guys at gamereplays.org will disagree, but this game is slow as HELL compared to other RTS, especially after CNC3. There's a lot of room for potential, but even watching the pros over at GR.org makes me snore. There's so much to micro, but no one ever actually micros. |

I'm playing it, I'm now at the Allies' last mission, I've already played through the Soviet campaign, and darn... I love it! With the same Klepacky-style music we love, with the ridiculousness of the story, it's feeling is just like Red Alert 2. Though, RA2 was better, but it's still far more better than Tiberium Wars.

Received this game yesterday from the courier. So far I have only played 4 campaign missions for Soviet and I find the game okay. The graphics are a bit disappointing even with everything set to ultra high. Gameplay wise, there is nothing really new so far that I haven't seen before in another CNC game. I would like to spend more time playing the game but there are so many other things that are occupying my time.

Just did a quick multiplayer to try the game. My first impression: horrible.
-The new Hell March sounds a lot like the second one. I expected more from Frank Klepacki -Gathering money is lame. I still prefer riding several harvesters into a field of goodies rather than putting a building next to a depot. -The enemy sent Yuriko into my base. She destroyed any building within literally 1 second. I don't see how that's balanced. -Worst. Acting. Ever. Just awful. -The armoured bear wasn't a joke, and it's nothing compared to what the Japanese use. I'll try playing it some more so I can form a proper opinion. |

Yuri - "ko" is an ending often used for female names; which means "child". Quote:
In the end I don't favor any faction since I random; but I do consider myself very competent with Empire.
