But man, Jean Reno must be having a lot of fun stomping around being silly in all these commercials.

If anyone's missing the OP's joke (I had to read it like, three times to get it :-I), the background story is that Jaiko was supposed to be Nobita's future wife in the original timeline, until Doraemon arrived from the future and Shizuka became the future wife girl instead. The manga (+ virtually all other media in the franchise) Jaiko looks like a female Gian, not very, er, conventionally attractive. Apparently she grew up very well. ~_~

Jaiko's nickname is a play on her brother Gian's -- the transliteration based on the most common method would actually derive "Jaian" -- as the Japanese have this impression that a name that ends with "ko" is totally feminine. So if Nobita gets sex-changed for whatever reason, you bet everyone's going to call him "Nobiko-chan."

Officially, eh, will never happen. Aside from Ferrari's stupid restrictions on the use of their cars, Toyota is probably the only automaker that has actually have benefited from anime (think Initial D>>Toyota Corolla>>Toyota FT-86.)

I actually noticed Shizuka-chan, but man, her voice was too deep (justifiable since she's like in her 30s) and I think she's too whiny. And beautified Jaiko is FULL OF WIN.
