Does this seem correct, or does the story suggest the colonies are older than that?
I don't think that's the case. Ozma and Ranka moved to Frontier in 2049.

The Miss Macross Frontier Contest was in it's 20th year so Frontier was launched in 2039. Just a year after Macross 7 was launched Macross Frontier was launched.

So multiple colony vessels were launched the same year or year later as Macross 7.

Macross Galaxy the 31st emmigration fleet is what deviated from the standard ship design started with Macross 1.

Spoiler for Macross 1:

Macross 1 (A fleet composed of 4 New Macross Class ships plus escorts.)

Spoiler for Macross Galaxy/21:

Macross Galaxy takes the singular ship colony concept of the Megaroad class.
It is different from other fleets as it appears to have Meltrandi derived escort ships.

Spoiler for Macross 5 Zentrdi variant NMC:

But having multiple ships appears to be common. Macross 5 had 3 NMC vessels and 1 thee-star factory ship. Not counting the 4km long Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs battleship. Macross 5 had Zentradi variant Bolognese stealth cruisers as escorts.

Spoiler for Macross 7:

Macross 7 had 1 NMC plus 6 or 7 specialization residential ships. If you count the cemetary ship Heaven from the Macross 7: Trash. By 2047 Macross 7 had another ship the Budokan, a concert ship, was added. Also in 2047 a new Battle 7 was being constructed. Macross 7 had more of the standard escort with Urugas, Guantanamos, and Bolognese as escorts.

Spoiler for Macross Frontier:

Macross Frontier's Island 1 is a supersized version of the NMC city block. 15 km in length compared to City 7's 5 km. With a greater space of 150 square km area. City 7 had 50 square km area. Also having island ship attachments. So Macross Frontier compared to the rest of the fleets brought an entire country with them.

Look, the Quarter is barely as big as Battle 25's torso..
Because the SDF-1's length is 1600 meters, and Quarter is 400 meters long. Duh.

Let's not forget that the New Macross-class ships are a lot bigger than the original SDF-1 (and the SDF-class vessels such as the Global).

I don't know what they have elsewhere, but a while ago in my country, they had the Mega Mac that had 4 patties to the Big Mac's 2.

Actually SDF-1 was 1210 m after the refit 1200 m.

A New Macross Class is 1510 m.

It was the planned SDF-2 that was to be 1610 m. But was converted into the 5km Megaroad 1.

Ok ok, let's move on to Macross now shall we?

...Then again, I work in Domino's, and spend my days battling the Rebellion's supporter.

Ehtnic foods can also be bad for your health. Take jeruk and busau, ethnic foods from Sabah, which are basically rotting meat and rotting vegetables eaten raw. Or the philipines, where they take duck eggs that are just a few days short of hatching, boil the eggs, and so eat both the egg AND the duckling.

You're German, tak. Your ethnic foods are saner than Asian ethnic foods. And I say this as someone who's grown up in a jungle eating authentic Asian cuisine. Even my mom, who's chinese, prefers to cook western.

If you're family has lived in the United States for far too many generation, then you have no ethnic foods. 13 generation removed from England or Scotland or anywhere else for that matter (at least anything that might have been culturely passed on) is too far to consider these my ethnic foods.

Closest thing I have to an ethnic food is chocolate.

Too laborious with the vegetables and extenders eh?

Balut or as I call it duckycide is rich in protein. Mind you we Filipinos learned that from the Chinese. (It's spelled Philippines by the way)

FYI you can't sell or make Balut in the US because some opportunistic bastard patented it.

How the heck do you patent ethnic food that has been around for centuries?

Heck watch a season of The Amazing Race courts will realize that the patenter did not invent it.

It is stealing from a public domain.

Fortunately, in this world we live in, we get to choose I personally prefer chopsticks over forks n' knives, but that may be just me.

Maggy, I think I might require your assistance explaining to him real Ethnic German food

Then again, my point was if my choices came down to Pizza, Micky D's, KFC or something other than fast food, I am pretty sure you know which one I'd pick as a meal. Nothing is worse than Micky D's, KFC or Pizza when it comes to sodium, cholesterol and clearly visible saturated fat. Those are some of the reasons why obesity in the US of A is so serious. Of course, making a sport out of food isn't helping.

And in a lame attempt to stay on topic:

Quick! List all the foodstuffs you can recall in Frontier! So they have hot dogs and ice cream on Frontier. I wonder what else they got Oh wait, the buns... yes... the buns... how can I forget.

- Tak (Wow, that was... lame)

What city (region) is Frontier patterned after anyway? Are are their multiply regions with different "islands".

Are there any "plans" out yet that show all of Macross 25?

At least on Frontier, the landscape is pattered after San Francisco and I believe, Shibuya.

The other side of the lake is Shanghai, Hongkong and Beijing?

No wonder Nyan Nyan is a big hit there and those Chinese peddlers we see running for their lives when the San Francisco area is attacked.

Ya know, we haven't seen a Ghost fighter shot a single weapon during this series I think part of Luca looking worthless is the fact that his ghost don't do anything but gather data and get blown up.

I'm surprised that the other ghost fighters haven't been upgraded to combat the EM jamming the vajra put out. At this point when their weapons are useless, it makes more sense to waste drones on running interference.

That's due to his Ghosts being setup for Electronic Warfare, in order to complement his RVF-25. To be fair, he's an EW specialist: his job isn't so much to get into combat as it is to support his squadmates.

But despite the fact that he looks fairly worthless, it's worth noting that Luca is the only one who hasn't ended up in the hospital or gotten his valk completely trashed.
