Just how powerful is this White Elf?

A name the antag gave himself. It references to his appearance and apparent supernatural firepower in taking down ISes.

His appearance roughly resembles Over-Z (only masked and mostly white instead of red), his left arm has a gauntlet similar to Over 3-Spec 2 and his only apparent weapon is the Stout Rifle, which is based on the Weissritter's Oxtongue Rifle + a composite blade underneath that can be energized of even deploy a beam blade.

As to how powerful he is... His trump card lies in his gauntlet. Abilities based off the Star Build Strike, it deploys a field that absorbs attacks from ISes, converts them into energy for his Stout Rifle and other systems.

The trade-off for his anti-IS capabilities is that he's only able to absorb any attacks from ISes only. The gauntlet's field has a property that breaks the ISes attacks down to its digital format, shreds it apart and converts them into energy.

But he can't do this against genuine conventional weapons. Those will just plow through the gauntlet's field like it was nothing.

As long as it originates from an IS, the field will eliminate it. For black holes, it'll give the White Elf the benefit of tremendous power (and some struggle*) before being eliminated itself.

All simply because the black hole is generated via IS weapon systems.

*by "struggle" it means the White Elf will need to expel the overwhelming energy, which would probably result in a spectacular power dump similar to pre-ACD 0 Gundam's GN Particle Wings Feathers.

Actually, most small black hole would eliminate itself quite fast. But in the case it could sustain about, say, 5 minutes, it would be quite the spectacular thing.

Say, does the White Elf's software deal with time disruption - like Y2K?

In what manner, if I may ask? Because the White Elf does dimension-jumping more than it does time-jumping. (White Elf comes from another continuity, another alternate IS-verse)

A suggestion...

The difference between real matter and IS made matter is that there is a seam of data. The matter IS creates is, so to speak, imperfect. White Elf pulls at these seams so digitizing whatever is shot at it that's made by IS.

In a manner of speaking, when one converts genuine materials into an IS system, it's forever embedded with that seam of data (that allows it to revert to data storage). Hence why even a black hole, as long as it's generated by an IS, also has that property which renders it vulnerable against White Elf's absorption field.

The White Elf also houses its own digital deployment system, carried over from the unit it was rebuilt from. But the absence of an IS Core, it doesn't have that unique IS-originated data signature so there's no risk of White Elf's system being disrupted/absorbed when the absorption field is in use.

Standalone clock? White Elf (its preceding armor at least) originated from the actual Athena-verse so it performs normally in the story.

You know, I'm having the idea that the second shift Byakkushiki with a claw is equal to Ichika becomes more aggressive. And with every shift until a full dragon, he get more and more cruel.

White Elf sounds like awesome outlier guy, similar to Digital Hazard in Digimon verse. He's similar, and yet so twistedly different to I.S. it became uncanny, and his very existence is capable of rewriting established law...by finding the loopholes.

Inb4 Ichika undergo training for hell because MUH TWIN CORE and got hospitalized as result. (dude sorry, no free powerup for you)
