Btw, did you guys notice that the animation and art in this eppie were kinda better than in some of the previous episodes? Same goes to screenplay too. I wonder who was working on these things for 9th ep., there's still no info about it at anidb...
Btw, is there info anywhere about the system behind the animators/directors/scriptwriters switching between episodes in this show?

I suspect that Ruiko and Touma are cousins as I saw these scenes:
Her "Nee-san" here has similar features to that of Touma (especially the hair) -There are few facts that might support my suspicions: -Ruiko is (still) not involve to any conflicts yet. (such as being struck by lightning) I guess she'll discover her ability soon if she's in a complicated situation. -And both of them (Touma and Ruiko) are level zero. They haven't seen each other yet (in the series). But I do suspect that they have that relationship by the time that they cross paths. If that happens, that gives the story an interesting twist. I can't wait to see the next episode. Last edited by Tornado Riku; 2009-11-28 at 01:11. |

Just one thing.... Touma is a 1st year high school student and is definitely older than her. Saten is a 1st year middle school student.
Also we already met Touma's parents. He doesn't have a sister per se but a younger cousin that sticks too close. |

It'd be interesting to see Touma meeting Saten and Touma, somehow, without noticing, raise her flag like what he usually does with other girls. Yeah I know, I've been sticking to people wanting to ship them lately
A good episode, I could rant about absence of Touma in this episode, but Its already been mentioned and I don't to- Spoiler for :
The fight was good though. How can you not like Kuroko when she's in bad-ass mode? Kuroko's opponent also amused me with his expressions and arguably is the best match for them utnil now.

Yes, just what I expected, a kickass Kuroko... 8D
I sort of felt that the episode was moving a bit faster than usual, I dunno if it's just my imagination but either way, it had the stuff that I wanted to see... 8D Too bad none of them pointed out if Harumi is the stripping lady urban legend, I wanted at least one of them to say it for better lolz. Without a doubt, I would say that this is the "most boring" of all the Railgun episodes so far. Of course, there were good points, most importantly how it still kept my interest throughout all of it. Specifically, there were several distracting factors that makes the storytelling not cohesive, and I felt as if the drama was overdone. All in all, I didn't feel anything got accomplished in this episode, but I'm hoping that it is all setting up for the next.
6/10 PS: I deducted more for not questioning the asphalt user in the previous episode.

so, there is no invisible hero of justice: Touma in this ep, eh?
& the power of the Dr. stripper lady is over 9000, AGAIN this ep shows that listening to cheesy music is BAD for your brain! to Saten: are you gonna use it or not? but i hope she doesn't end up like a certain Needless character & now it has been proven that all the thugs in the To Aru world are nothing but a bunch of emotionless RPG video game monsters that attacks the players passing by, even an innocent little kitten or even some old guy on a wheelchair Koroko gets pawned again in this ep & this time to make matters worse, also inside a deserted building which is also the home to our main bad guy of this ep, complete with his knife, the new doujinshi sold at the next comiket ensues so Kuroko's power also has the equivalent of a stick of Dyanamite? capable of knocking down an entire massive structure? & Saten will be doing something nasty to her own buddies in the next ep!? overall, this ep gives a whole new meaning to "MUSIC IS LIKE DRUGS" & it would be hilarious if the music that all the Level Upper users listened to was actually Fripside's My Only Railgun, yes, My Only Railgun causes health problems for your brain

This is one another important episode which deals with the relationship of the characters. I'll state my prediction again: Saten Ruiko might be the cousin of Touma and she might possess the same power which Touma has.
