Not really, as manga, AK is popular enough as it is, considering the fact that it having an anime broadcasting right now, the manga just ended for a few weeks, i'd say the numver is actually smaller than what i'd expect from it

Adding to that, Light Novels of Weekly Shounen Jump series are always top sellers. Naruto, Death Note, Haikyuu etc sell quite well. In fact Haikyuu is one of the few series (if not the only one) to have a manga volume and light novel volume rank first place in sales in each of the rankings in the same week.

^^ yeah, and you should consider targeting audiences as well, as shounen jump manga, expected that AK has far, far more wider audiences compare to Index, even many younger kids read AK - frankly, if you knew that AK manga sell more than 400k copies for 1 vol, i'd say only 80k for the LN is actually rather disapointing consider how much advantages it had.

This is pretty much the lowest number of books sold that I seen comparing to other sales record.

Once again, it really just depends on the digital sales.

Don't think it'll reach 100k before it drops out of the charts.

That pretty good for only one volume of Index being release so far in this year, when the sales are going down for some reason, most likey some people are not buying it because they don't like where the plot is going or there just too many books and no one new getting into it. I do believe a third season would help it.

On the plus side, I'm glad konosuba nailing it. That was really an under rated anime that actually should be spread more to others, it that funny people, watch it.
Also I take it no one no why it had a few extra Thousands copies sold when it was only 90k

I think that's the sales from virtual on spin off mixing into the total sales of the series

Plus around 10k more from NT 14, the rest are pretty insignificant.

Anime helps, as always.

Especially if it's a good adaptation.
