I find Teekyu to be the best 5 min series I've seen yet and if this can be as good then I couldn't be any happier.

teekyuu lasts only 2 minutes and yes I like the humor, but I'm not drawing fan is "poorly done" done voluntarily but I do not like
^^"
if I have to choose an anime whose episodes lasted no more than five minutes I think of "Morita-san" very good animation

I was already using the translate to see some other stuff, but now that you mention it, I really didn't need to mention I did because the numbers are actual numbers.

^ I can't believe I watched that. And I can't believe that Man-Faye more. :X

My first thoughts on the title were of a man who acts like little girl, then of a little girl acting like a man... It's certainly misleading xD

Who knows, it could well be that one of the man-girls is a trap, thus being true to the title
They can't be *that* oblivious to not know what people think of when they hear the title, so probably they choose the title with a good reason XD

Most of what I said for Yama no Susume applies to here, too. That extra 30 seconds of airtime makes a difference, the animation looks pretty good, and I'm enjoying the characters. This is another series where all four leads are voiced by relative newbies to the business, so I'm curious if any of these VAs will go places once this series is done. Everyone has to start somewhere.

The level of meta on display is rather high, and it manages to turn what should be staid facts about business into comedic points. The relationship between Aki and Hana is a lot of fun to watch. (And more than bit yuri-ish. Always a plus!) I need to see more of Ringo and Tsugumi to get an idea of how they fit into things, but since both this and Ai Mai Mii are dealing with manga, albeit in different ways, I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle things.

Once again, the winter of 2013 is off to a running start.

Maybe if Watched Aikatsu twice in a row while waiting for the new episode but,
That blond girl Reminds me a lot of Hoshimiya Ichigo from Aikatsu!
Maybe because of her red Ribbon

Em. You're mixing things here. Noone of them wants to became a mangaka or make manga. They want to make popular manga journal. In ep one they searched for manga authors o fill the content of the first issue

Aki was certainly looking good in that business wear, but I think I need to give this one a few more episodes to decide.

How do you get editors for your manga anthology? You lay a track of sweets to your room
Because, come one, no one cares about qualification or something like that

Who's paying the rent for their office, anyway, given that they're in an actual office building? I bet the rent isn't cheap there, and it's not as if they're doing anything even remotely productive XD
("Hooray, I got an email from a famous author that he's declining to work for us!")

I've started viewing Hana just a little differently, now that I know her VA is going to be playing Makoto/Cure Sword in a few weeks. For the actual content of the episode, still keeping up the good pace. Hana's a great example of a fan trying to get into the business, even if she remains a little spacey. And we finally meet the first one of our artists. And narrowly avoid plagiarism!
