Yama no Susume Season 2 [Anticipation]

The great news from MyAnimeList:
http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=698541

Quote:
A second anime adaptation of girls' climbing manga Yama no Susume was announced at Sunday's fan event "Touchou Kinen Party! Hannou-shi Shimin Kaikan tte Doko!?" in Hannou, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The second season is scheduled to air in Spring 2014. It will be 15-minute-per episode, 2 cours total. More information will be revealed in the next issue of Comic Earth Star magazine, which will be on newsstands on December 12, 2013.
I have been looking forward to more Aoi climbing mountains with her friends, and longer episodes is a very very good thing. There are at least 4 manga volumes worth of unanimated material so there is enough for 2 cours.

Two cours, eh? Very nice! I enjoyed season 1.

Though somehow the fact that its source material is a manga is something I either totally missed or totally forgot.

I wonder if there will be new charas? 24 eps is plenty of room for new stuff.

Yes! YES! YES!

2 cours and 15 minutes per episode, I couldn't hope for anything more.

It's two-cour, not one cour. We'll be seeing this show for 6 months, and I'm watching every second of it.

Wait this is getting not-short episodes now? I can't wait the 1st season just so good for such a short SoL.

That was typo. I meant to write 2.

I'm really happy they extended the length of the episodes. The short length of the episodes from the first season was very frustrating. Every time I was starting to get into it, the episode ended. It was the series' only flaw.

I agree wholeheartedly. I remember after every. single. ep. when the ed started I would sigh to myself and start to "rassa frassa" like mumbley.

That being said, it will be interesting to see if they are able to keep that same quality in the 15 minute format. I certainly hope so!

Just finished re-watching s1 in preparation for s2 airing, and am looking forward to it AND some new characters/cast to liven up the series.

Though it seems that the pv2 does not show any of the new charas... Drat. ^^

I haven't watched S1 yet so I'm curious how many minutes it has.

Each ep was a little over 3 minutes or so. The OVA was a little under 6 minutes if I remember correctly.

The first episode just aired yet no subs have been released. I do hope this poor series isn't left to fall on the wayside.
