That would be a problem of plot. Since Charlotte's love of Ichika maybe a bit... complicated. It's not exactly hard to pull her away from him. Just that she seems so sincere in her feelings it's hard to imagine her falling for someone else. It'd take some skilled writing and plot manipulation.

can't be that hard. Depending on what genre and what niche they fill in the story, give them a main quirk or concept. Then build around that and add dimensions to the character by trying to imagine them in everyday life and as many random situations as you can think of.

EDIT: Unless you already have the personalities planned out but can't decide which one to use.

I can't think of one for Rin and Houki's. They literally have nothing unique going for them now. Hell, Kazuma's past ("Are you sure I'm not bothering you?") and Future ("Who do we kill next?") has more variation.

Well Houki's kid can have many interesting personalities that can push the character's buttons. For one, the kid can take after Houki which would make them quite difficult and awkward to deal with. More like Ichika to make them have tendencies to say stupid things.

With Rin, you can make her kids money grubbing. Another posibility is food expert. There's also "the violent one" niche to fill out.

I know about the stereotype, but Rin does have thrift tendencies in canon. Mostly because of Ichika's idiocy. Just realized... it would be awkward if Rin's kid already has a bust size bigger than her mother's...

Charles (Charlotte) - Typical good boy who females get attached to.

Kazuma (Clone) - Emotionless boy.

Saito (Kanzashi) - The Kyon.

Shouta (Maya) - The shy one with many ambigous vibes.

Aria (Kanzashi) - Insufferable genius and yaoi fangirl.

Claire (Cecilia) - Noble who loves cooking.

Celeste (Laura) - Soldier wannabe.

Sara/Tatenashi (Tatenashi) - Teasing prankster who loves anime and manga.

Asuka (Chifuyu) - Most sane and Big sis of the group.

Kotanoha (Madoka) - Yandere with a bit of a dad complex.

Yuu (Houki) - Crossdresser (Only thing so far).

Yutaka (Honne) - Energetic ditz.

Their future versions are dark due to the timeline screwing up. For example.

Kazuma - No emotion apart from desire to kill pilots.

Saito - Hates Aria for being better than him and flaunting it.

Aria - Turns proud of her accomplishments and belittles her sibling.

Celeste _ Blood Knight and war fanatic.

Etc etc.

As for Rin, her greediness is less for money and more for whatever favor she does for you, you are expected to pay her back.

Firstly, I must mention that I play computer games.

Using the information above, you should be able to deduce why I am not on the forum for so long.

If not, then obviously you are not really that into gaming.

And if you know the reason, it is pretty much obvious how far I progressed with my story....

Anyway, during my free time (during the loading of the game), I decide that I will add IS development thingy into the story.....Think Gundam Variation.... except it is for IS.

Full explanation and reason will be provided in the story on why the variation is not used, below is just a chart to show flow of development.

and how it turned from Samurai(Uchigane) into its current form

Entirely new (challenging and exciting, according to the development team) design direction for Japan IS development team (previously they had been focusing on winning battle by using only a sword....)
Armless design loaded with range weaponry such as missile....(no close range weapon because it is loaded with enough weapons to ensure Enemies can't even get close enough....)
+Uchigane Tenshi > Uchigane Nigata (incompleted due to upper brass want the development to focus on Byakushiki)

Uchigane Nigata (original plan):
Well-balanced ranged 3rd gen IS with offense, speed and defense performance that is better than normal third gen IS..... again the philosophy is: No matter how good you are, nobody can outsmart bullets.....and by bullets, they means lots of bullets.....

You seem to focus more on tech than characters or story most of the time. Not really a bad thing.

Side note - Mass Effect 3's ending stunk Act like the paragon of peace? Choose how to kill yourself in Blue, Green, or Red light. Avt like a dick and kill entire species off? Choose how to kill yourself in Blue, Green, or Red light. Nothing you do matters come the ending.
