pffft, Eruruu >>>> Rika.

I'm sure I'd believe that even after I've seen Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni....well maybe. Or maybe it's a bit of a biased vote .

Eruruu is really awesome though .

I have nothing against voting Eruruu over Rika...just watch your back tonight.

I really liked Utawarerumono as a whole, anyway. Glad to see others who feel the same.

People, people, remember the ISML motto:

"Watch MOAR anime"

That being said, off to watch Utawarerumono.

If I can't get to sleep tonight...I know who I'm blaming .

As for moar anime.. all of Nanoha takes a while to watch when I can only watch 1-2 episodes a day. Not sure what'll be next on the list of anime to watch after that though, I'm sure it'll be something that has a character in ISML though!

Well having seen both can't say I agree on that one. Though Eruruu is more moe than her position in the standings would make you think.
Spoiler for Votes:

Some very tough choices this round, especially Ayu versus Nagi. I may have contracted the Hinamizawa Syndrome as well.

Spoiler for votes:

Yup. Far too long for me to even start at the moment. As a temporary solution I dl'ed a couple of Nanoha picture packs/AMV's and decided on the basis of what I saw. Looks like I'm going to like the third series more than the previous two... anyway, not a perfect solution, but still better than abstaining/voting avatars for the rest of the tournament.

Me too (even though it doesn't show in this round's vote preferences). Not a life-altering experience, but an interesting and unique show. Pity they kind of messed up the ending.

A little late, but despite my support for C.C. I was surprised by the results of Code GEASS characters from the Korean chart. Guess it turns that way when the majority of voters are agitated by recently aired, popular series. Honestly, Shirley, of all people?
BTW, some of the recent comments seemed fairly spoilerific concernig R2 plot...

Is it better than the visual novel? I went through that, and decided I wouldn't watch the anime.

So... I checked that Lucky Star forum today, and they are kind of burning out. Looks like Kagami's losing her mojo.

I wonder who will take her place.

No idea. Never played the game. The anime ending felt out of place IMO, though it followed the game story as far as I know. Guess it was just poorly delivered.

[Disclaimer: All of this is my opinion.]
To be honest, the ending wasn't that good in the visual novel as well. Not enough character development was given to Eruruu before the climax, and at that point there wasn't enough development for her to seriously feel compassionate about the ending. It might be different in the anime, but it might not.

Edit: I agree with qtip.

I played the game after watching the anime (I'm talking about Utawarerumono of course), I'll say the game was fun but I do prefer the anime. This could be due to knowing the plot from watching the anime, or maybe the animation/voice acting made it better.

The anime does follow the plot of the game, but it misses out most of the more lighthearted parts of the game.

Personally I'd certainly recommend the watching the anime over playing the game, though both are enjoyable imo.

If results fail me now, you're going to be missing a devoted Yurie fan. I know I'll miss him.
