Trouble in VB

I was forced to make a program in VB because c++ wouldn't compile the program right and it would always screw stuff up. Anyways, my question is: How do I convert a number stored in string format to an integer? I really need to figure this one out. Thanks in advance for any help.

What version of VB? VB 6? ... In VB 6 there is very little you need to do to convert a number from a string to a numeric value... Unless the value is encoded in some non-vb-standard way. Try CInt, should do the trick.
