So that's it....well I know it was done as 6 parts but felt the last part lacking in some areas for example the outcome after outer Moka/Akasha says her farewells felt anticlimactic. Not to mention after everything when he returns no romance or kisses from the real Moka or other heroines.
All the previous parts were fantastic but leading to this type of end.....quite disappointed. From what been said so far there is an epilogue coming? should be interesting wonder if it will be a time skip or perhaps just maybe a start for third season of the series < fingers crossed if it is. |

Guys I felt it lost its touch when they started with season 2. It went ok untill the battles on the Snow Maiden Village. We saw a masterpiece during season 1: A human boy that goes YA, an academy made for monsters, whose rules would take down any human who'd set foot in there. Moka was the perfect main girl and her Inner side an awesome character: She was strong, violent, and her interactions with Tsukune were interesting. The arc when Tsukune became a Ghoul and she choose to finish him off was totally awesome IMO. The feeling of the manga was darker in season 1 not by the graffic part ( which was on season 2), but the psychological trill Tsukune had to deal in order to survive his stay in there.
I felt season 2 rushed too much, Isa was totally forgotten on the show despiste being introduced as a such powerful character. I understand that the need to change magazines, may have been a let down, but to me the biggest problem was that the author totally lost focus of the plot when season 1 ended. It was a fun ride all this years! 2004 - 2014, which I only picked R+V on 2008, yes it was. The trill of every month's release was something really good for me. Very few series got me hocked to that extent. |

The way Ikeda looked at it was that Season 1 so to speak was about Tsukune whilst Season II was about his friends hence the focus on Mizore Kurumu and finally Moka.
You shouldn't focus on the changing of the magazine. Claymore and Tegami Bachi also went from Monthly Shonen Jump to Jump Square, it was more of a rebranding of a failing magazine to help it gain new readers than an entirely new magazine

Well, the chapter is out in it's usual place.
And also the last chapter is apparently going to be released on the 19th of April in Jump SQ 19, so I guess I will leave my opinion on the manga's ending, after I see that chapter. |
