Darker Than Black S3? I have mixed feelings the idea... I was hyped about S2, but afterwards I kind of wished they hadn't done it. S1 was perfect as it was, there was no need to drag it on. Aaaawww, but I do want a season 3!

So yeah, mixed feelings

Actually Scott Green from AICN Anime reported it, and he's usually pretty reliable. But that's why I said "rumors".

I don't think any Nisio Isin related project will be announced this way, it's a better strategy to throw his name in the first place if you want to hype something ... also "sci-fi" isn't really his cup of tea.
As for Urobutcher, I'd like to bet my money on it ... but they forgot to add "tragedy" and "Nitro+" in the description so I'm not really confident about it

... just kidding ; actually the Aniplex + (Fragile) Friendship + 14-year-old girl + (Sci-fi) Action Girl somehow gave me the Madoka vibes so I can't deny it was the first thing that came into my mind >.> ... but we can't say for sure until we know further details.

EDIT :

But since ASCII Media Works is involved I wonder if one of their authors will participate in the project.

I don't think Urobuchi will return to teen girl sci-fi action so soon after Madoka. Assuming the show he's doing has already been announced (and that's a big if) I'd be more inclined to Psycho-Pass.

Symphogear has 3 main heroines.(Well, at least Chris does the most with protecting the moon by shooting a TBR against a ion-powered requiem cannon.)
