Hmm I'd say metal and rock.
Children Of Bodom, Anathema and Nine Inch Nails are my favourite bands.
Punk is also a good genre.

Well, I'm kind of all over the map.

I like metal (death, black, traditional, doom, prog, etc), hardcore (stuff like Champion, Chain of Strength, Negative Approach, Comeback Kid, Good Clean Fun, Floorpunch) Post-rock (Yndi Halda, GY!BE, Mogwai, EiTS) punk/ska (No Cash, Against All Authority, Choking Victim, Crass, Minor Threat, Old Against Me!) indie-pop/other stuff (Slowdive, Sparklehorse, etc.) So... I don't know what to vote. :-P

You should have used an option "metal" instead of heavy metal.
I chose other, because i like bands that play death/black/folk/viking metal best.

I'm picky when it comes to music but I have no genre preferences whatsoever.
I was kind of a metalhead a few years ago, I managed to get over that though. You can find good music in just about every genre imaginable if you just listen open-minded.

i love hip-hop,rock-pop lol...i can't really listen to full rock songs...however i love Rentre en Soi's protoplasm =) and i like their other songs too those non-metallic songs lol

I love Pop. They are interesting to listen to and i don't get tired of them very easily. They also gives the listener a lot of different feelings depending on the way they are composed or sung.
