Not true. While it's true for almost all, there have been publications released on other dates as well (eg. Kami-memo). Anyway, I suspect that the first chapter of volume 12 might have been aired by June 10, so they want to release it earlier.

Yeah I will be watching for the Ayase service as well, but for the the focus on her is towards the end of the novels though. I hope they do not cut off some of the minor appearance such as Kyou joke about wanting to marry her, then later on Ayase kicking him out of her room when she confirms he got a girlfriend (if those parts get cut then the chances of a Ayase end diminishes as I believe they are important milestones in my eyes).

Since it is going to be a 12+3 episode deal again, I am curious if they are going to do an anime original end, then wrap things up in the 3 episodes which covers the "true end" again. Due to the nature of vol10 and vol11 its going to be difficult to find a satisfying anime original end though...

yeah, looking over the plot I can't figure out how they'd do a similar trick like they did the first season. Hopefully we don't have to wait for thousands of years for the last 3 episodes.

Generally it seems that Ayase picked up a large amount of momentum in the later volumes after Kuroneko had her chance. Generally from a literary perspective. Ayase IMO seems to be the character for symbolizes, the side of Kirino who is a model, popular and school, talented. My point being the type of person you admire, and wish you could marry or have as a girlfriend. His interest possibly being rooted in his admiration of Kirino's achievements during the Cold War period. This is contrasted against Kuroneko who symbolizes the otaku side of Kirino, the side of Kirino which Kyousuke gets to know and begins to have a closer relationship. In the end it would be the decision of which part of Kirino he is undeniably drawn too, the dream previously thought impossible or the truth behind the facade.

Given that his dream become possible through Ayase confession, his reply to her will probably instrumental in understanding his feelings.

Anyway percentage wise, I feel that Minami, Kirino and Kuroneko and Kanako are tied with 10% and Ayase with the highest percentage of 60% given the recent developments. Then again I always expect the girl who I do not favour to win.

I'm willing to bet all my OreImo novels that the scenario of Manami, Kanako, Saori or Ayase ending up with Kyousuke will never happen conclusively at the end of the series, meaning that the only way it's possible (imho) of them ending up with Kyousuke in future is when we have an open-end/no-girl-end and things are still up in the air. On second thoughts, throw in all the love comedy light novels I have as well, even though it may not be much compared to some people here.

If you can assert what the cannon ending is, the game sales will be lower by a little bit at least. Conversely, if there is no cannon couple, the title will go legendary with fans debating over the years what non-cannon couple is cannon-er XD

I can be proven wrong though with the singularity known as ichigo 100% which every now and then someone making threads about how the ending sucked or made every sense. That title is the meaning of legendary, it's almost common sense in the world of romantic comedies to have at least heard of it.

Having a harem/non-conclusive ending will keep everyone happy, but also an insult to those who have been following the romantic tension around kyousuke. It is also a chicken out from the author as Kyousuke assured himself he will have the guts to pursue after someone.

Settling over a harem end is also unfair to the female cast: they deserve a proper closure.

Although I admit, a single volume seem rather short for the gf candidate to resolve the Kirino problem, or if it is Kirino herself, the society problem. This is my logical bastion of hope for Ayase as she is that bullet already loaded into the barrel.

From a financial perspective, going for an Ayase end would boost the sales of Ayase figures: there are enough Kirino and Kuroneko figures out there already.

Let's see what the author gain from each ending
1-One single end : woops, he got fan's rage from the everyone (expect the heroine's)
2-Harem end: I'm agree that is is unfair for the female cast. Beside, Kyou doesnt look like he had the guts to do that (the only expectation is Kuroneko, since she suggested it herself)
3-Open end : Nope, it could end with Kyou about to confess, but by hiding to who, not only he avoid everyone's rage, Kyou also the first one to confess.

My guess is a sort of hybrid ending, where he moves closer to a relationship with one of the girls, but the other girls still haven't really given up yet, and life (pretty much) goes on having taken a big step forward.

The other thing not to totally discard is the possibility that, though this novel series is "ending", there could still be spin-off novels or even a sort of continuation. By resolving the large outstanding issue with Kirino, it really does bring this larger story arc to a close, but that doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing more to be said. So who knows...

This is an analysis I came up with regards to how different endings with regards to who ends up with Kyousuke would happen.

Spoiler for Kirino:

The possibility that Kirino isn't blood-related to Kyousuke exists, but I'll leave that for later.

Assuming Kirino is blood-related to Kyousuke:
Kirino has seemingly understood what Manami tried to convey to her three years ago. Manami said that her feelings for Kyousuke "would cause unhappiness for everyone" (Volume 11, Epilogue). The reason behind this is that marriage between blood-related siblings is illegal. Their parents and most likely friends too, would be unhappy and disagree with this. She used to think that her brother is an invincible superhero, selfishly thinking that her brother would ensure that this works out somehow, but as Manami said "This is something no one, not even Kyou-chan, can change" (Volume 11, Epilogue). Kirino herself also realized that her brother is no superhero, “If you don’t look at him properly, that idiot would immediately rush towards the hard way, forcefully claiming that he’s invincible, place all the burden on himself and heroically self-destruct”. (Volume 9, Chapter 2)
If she plans to be a good sister, given the consequences, this is a burden she simply can't afford to place on her brother. She should simply heed Manami’s advice “Don’t tell anyone that feeling of yours, forget it, give up on it, make up with your current brother, and be --- ‘normal siblings’.”

Given on their mother’s immediate reaction on the possibility of a romantic relationship between her son and daughter (Volume 7, Chapter 4), it is seemingly unlikely that they aren’t blood-related. Despite that, the possibility is definitely there.
If it is suddenly revealed that Kirino and Kyousuke aren’t blood related, there isn’t much I can comment about, everything would proceed accordingly into a Kirino ending. However, I would personally think this is not only clichéd, lame, but is also weird considering what I have deduced on the theme of this story (I posted on this before).

Spoiler for Kuroneko:

Kuroneko has a dream.
In that dream, she pictures Kyousuke and Kirino across a table, happily talking to each other, while she serves breakfast. From what I can infer, this should be a scene where Kirino, who apparently made up with Kyousuke, visits Kyousuke and Kuroneko. And as the housewife, Kuroneko serves breakfast.
“…Every time I think about this wish I can never achieve my whole life…” (Volume 9, Chapter 2)
“Even if my body would have perished from this world, I would definitely, in my next life, fall in love with you again.” (Volume 8, Chapter 1)
Out of all the girls, I personally think Kuroneko’s love towards Kyousuke is the strongest. As Kirino described “It’s throwing everything in your life out like a baseball, a true sacrificial love.” (Volume 9, Chapter 2) It will pain anyone to see them not ending up with each other.
However, Kuroneko is too soft. The moment she realized that Kirino is lying to herself about her feelings, she decided to mercilessly broke up with Kyousuke in order to force out Kirino’s feelings. There’s no telling that she would pull this again. In fact, if she dates Kyousuke again, and realizes that Kirino still has leftover feelings for her brother, she would definitely do something of this sort again. Kuroneko herself probably understands that, and therefore concluded that she can never achieve this dream.
I think the only way to create a Kuroneko ending would be work on Kyousuke’s side. Manami told Kyousuke “Because of Kirino, no matter what there would be setbacks for any girl who dates Kyou-chan…. perhaps you can create a future where everyone is happy.” Kuroneko isn’t exactly the type who could find another guy to cherish her, and Kyousuke might want to take responsibility for. Only if Kyousuke is able to suppress Kirino in some way, then he could carve out a future with Kuroneko. This way Fushimi has to show the readers that everything has proceeded well, possibly in the form of ten years later, to convince the readers.

Spoiler for Ayase:

Manami said “I think, if it’s Ayase-chan, even if she has to do it the hard way, she would bring together a future where everyone is happy…. To date Kyou-chan, there would be trouble if the girl isn’t as tough as Ayase-chan.” (Volume 8, Chapter 4)
When Kuroneko met Ayase in Kyousuke’s house the second time. There was apparently some “ceremony” going on where Ayase is stepping on Kuroneko’s stomach. Kuroneko said “Aragaki Ayase – Let me take back what I said. I’ll not say stuff like ‘Not your business.’ anymore. From now on, I will see you as – An enemy standing on the front of my fate, A rival looking for the same goal.” (Volume 10, Chapter 4) The second time this “ceremony” happened, where Kuroneko is instead stepping on Ayase’s stomach, and Kuroneko is apparently trying to ensure that Ayase tells Kirino about confessing to Kyousuke. (Volume 11, Volume 12 Prologue) This is just my theory, but I think Kuroneko has recognized Ayase as the person who would be able to pull off a happy ending for everyone. The first ceremony, which Kuroneko asked for, is taken as a punishment for her uselessness in this situation, while the second ceremony might simply be Ayase’s gratefulness towards Kuroneko.
About Kyousuke’s attachment to Ayase, some people choose to see it as pure admiration while some people choose to see it as love. Fushimi could decide to explain it either way depending on the ending he wants to write. But at this point, considering how the story was built up, an Ayase ending would be the most straightforward and logical ending to go for, where the least amount of explanation is needed as we can assume that Ayase would be able to handle any ups and downs they might face with regard to Kirino. Well, straightforward doesn’t necessarily mean most likely, everything still rests on the author’s pen.

Spoiler for Manami:

Manami is basically “BEST CHILDHOOD FRIEND EVER”-zoned. In this first-person novel, Kyousuke is hardly able to hide his feelings and it would have been obvious if he had any feelings towards Manami. There are people reading into what Kyousuke said to Akimi “Whether it’s now or three years ago, my answer is the same, there’s already someone I like.” (Volume 11, Chapter 4) But I personally think this is simply a white lie, as Kyousuke did not have a single thought on this when Kuroneko confessed. What Manami desires most is simply Kyousuke’s happiness, there is even a possibility that she might not make any moves towards the end.

If Fushimi went for a non-Kirino ending, he might be one of the best trolls in a while Although the contents of the novel indicates otherwise, the title, cover and references to incest animes is absolutely misleading

I like how they added the young kyousuke+kirino part in the beginning. It really sets up the whole overall siblings theme early without devoting too much resources into an episode for v11.

That cellphone bishoujo thing is a side story from the Drama CD. Kirino bought a game called "Love Touch" at Episode 1 19:33 which will be what it is about.
The original timeline for this story set in way before... and is the reason Ayase blocked Kyousuke's number. But I can see what they are trying to do, they are removing the story about Kanako quitting smoking and changing Ayase's requirement for unblocking Kyousuke into helping her with a "Love Touch"-addicted Kirino - they're lots of things they did here that Ayase called sexual harrasment. Kyousuke would probably ask Ayase to marry him here too. This might take the first half of the episode while Ria Hagry might take the second half.

If they're doing this they're basically reducing Kanako's screentime and adding Ayase's.
