2nd OP: definitely sounds like DAYS (no surprise there - FLOW did both). Only thing that is rather amusing is the little section before the chorus kicks up. Barring the pitch differences, it IS exactly the same as the section before the chorus kicks up in DAYS.

Either that is pure coincidence, or someone knows what they were doing when they wrote this. Fair play FLOW, fair play

E7:AO has certainly been interesting (though only felt tangentially involved with the original E7 plot)...but this gives me the inkling that the real E7 just stood up again and joined the party

This new Eureka looks younger and wears clothes that look like to what she was wearing 13 years ago and... she's pregnant again? Wait, 13 years ago she also appeared from a scub burst in space. Wait, is she a copy? Does every scub burst have a Gekko and a Eureka in them? Wait, now you're bringing Gekko, but what is it here to do? Were they planning to break free regardless of Japanese firing at the scub? Could they? Did they know Japanese would fire? Who's piloting it? How did it get embedded in a Scub chunk? Wait, this means there are two Eurekas in this world now? What about Renton is he aboard the Gekko? Why isn't he in the Nirvash? Wait, is New Order canon now? Or is it just all contrived time travel? Wait, what's that blue-glowing spirit of Eureka in blue dress that we know Ao's mom version of Eureka was wearing? Is that also THE Eureka? Is that Izanami? Wait why did Naru disappear into the scub right before Eureka emerged? Did she make that hole through which Ao was to climb? She has control over scub now? Or is it her controlling it? When will Truth stop being an annoying asshole that we're expected to like? Hold on hold on, but Eureka CAN'T be piloting the original Nirvash because it morphed, became a control cluster and left at the end of E7. So is it another Mark I? Wait, but it has two cockpits. Wait, the hole in the Gekko is from when the Nirvash emerged from it in EP50, right? But Eureka is clearly older than she was at the end of E7, what, they didn't bother to patch up the hole? Why? Is it because of sentimental reasons? That's not how spaceships work.

I'm so confused.

It brings the possibility that the original Elena is not dead but merely transported in the E7 universe.

Thus the Gekko's mission could be to return original Elena and/or bring back their own Elena.

The current Elena could be a new adopted kid after the three.

Only to find a paradox with Ao.

Maybe this world is some kind of area between dimensions? Or some kind of dream of the Coralians?

And so the people in it with changed genes from the trapar are able to manifest as alternate reality versions of themselves possibly? Or generate another self in the case of Elena?

Tell that to Evangelion. I'm one of the few people who hopes that E7 Ao continues on its Evangelion-like writing rather than the serious writing of the original. I look forward to seeing when this gets subbed.

I will, thank you very much, the second half of Evangelion had absolutely wretched narration and directing. That should NOT be a standard to live up to. I'm not among the people that find a still shot for 3 minutes or purposeful obfuscation of story details to the point where a hundred different fan explanations can all work particularly deep or good storytelling. There's subtlety and then there's just obtusion. This is offtopic though.

I'm just going to stop by and say I *really* liked this week's episode.

This definitely hammers in the point that the rest of the series is going to be VERY different from the first half. Delicious. I can't wait for next week. The preview looks mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Definitely some interesting stuff happening at the end of this episode. Yet Another Eureka(TM) shows up with the Gekko-go, of course. The interesting thing to notice though, is she has a slight bulge in her stomach -- probably pregnant. So this is probably another Eureka coming through from the same time as Ao's Eureka originally came through. Except this one didn't appear in just the Nirvash and fall out of it. So Ao is literally looking at his unborn self. Kinda creepy. Multiverse, indeed. And then the ghost of Obiwan Eureka appearing at the very end of the Ep13 preview.

This was a fantastic episode. I love how different it is from E7, and I love that (for the first time!) I have something other to say than how much Banksian influence it has. To wit: I love how this not only raised more questions than answers, it managed to raise interesting questions I didn't see coming until they happened. I hope it delivers on that early promise.

It was commented during his physical that his eyes may well see Infrared and UV spectrums.

Note Ao's eyes is like other humanoid Coralians.

At Japan he can also see Trapar underwater.

She does a formal introduction of herself to Ao, then comments on his hair color. She clearly has never met him before. And even if its been a long time since Ao's Eureka has seen him, surely a mother would recognize her own son.

The issue did come up several weeks earlier. But he never told everyone what really happened. He made a casual comment to Elena and Fleur about how he could see it, but it was never further investigated either because he didn't tell the leadership about it, or they thought it was a unique occurrence. They simply expanded on it this episode.
