Nodocchi, with the highest vote total in the prelim so far, displaced defending champion Kagami by more than 100 votes. In addition, Saku snatched third place from Rena, thus sending a message that perhaps, Saki and Hayate are really two of the factions to beat this tournament. Yuki-chan clinched fifth place and Lucchini (yay!) got sixth.

no surprise to see nodoka got the 1st place, since she's the strongest saki candidate imo.
what surprising me is how yuki got 5th place, haruhi's might not be a threat for this year. still choosing my pick for group 13.. but don't really think anyone capable to stop yui today

I guess Nodocchi's win is expected, since Saki has been doing really well, and LS doesn't have as much support as it did last year.
Yuki didn't do as well as I thought she would.. maybe people are just sick of Endless Eight? ... Nyanko-sensei made it to second prelim! That really made my day  Today's group is pretty strong too. We've got both Hisa and Mako in the same match, as well as Taiga, Miya-miya and Mizuki, Hirasawa Yui, Alicia and Isara, one of the more popular Negima girls (Setsuna), Saki (I wonder how popular Higashi no Eden is in Japan..) and.. Sheryl, I guess. Spoiler for votes:

Can't say I'm not glad Kagami finally lost after two years. But Nodoka? Eww. Sakuya up there was a nice surprise.
5-5-0, the standings tell me again that this was a stacked as fuck group. Got to be glad to have done this well. Quote:

i'm pleased with Lucchini, Nodocchi and Saku's showing in the previous round.
now group 13, just like the round before it, promises to be interesting once more, both from an outsider and personal standpoint. as others have previously said, it's obvious that this round boils down to Taiga vs. Yui and to a smaller extent, given Saki's dominance so far, Hisa. personally though, I'm quite curious on where Alicia, Minna and Setsuna stands on this stacked group. Spoiler for my picks for this round:
and canceled classes for me = more time for sigs, hence, I've added Mio, Misaka, Horo, Ami and Mihoko for those who'd like to use them

Strength: Saki definitely has a LOT. Hayate no Gotoku is gaining some, even for characters that barely appear on the show. Seto no Hanayome is losing some , and, Endless Eight is comsuming Haruhi's slowly.Anyway, my picks for group 13 are: Quote:
