He's referring to The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya.
I'd put a spoiler warning, but anyone who's that interested in the show probably knows this by now: Yuki is a pseudo-robot/human computer program that has a limited ability to "reprogram" reality. It's similar to the Code of the Lifemaker, but based more on science than magic. The idea of Asuna pulling something like that is certainly possible, given that she's a descendant of the Lifemaker and everything. That's the source of her magic cancel abilities, although whether that means she inherently has the Lifemaker's other abilities is up for debate.

I might buy for the purpose of having the omnibus edition. It's easier if it's all together, besides my copies weren't in the best condition when I bought them so...

Dont worry, Im sure there is a reason it hit her, shes a robot, her entire body can be replaced, and being split in half shouldnt even be an issue. Im sooo hoping for chao to show up now, the awesomeness would blow my mind
Negi down and on the brink of death with no one knowing how to heal him? Chachamaru split in half with no one who has the knowledge to fix her around? The situation getting worse and worse? Doesnt that kinda scream for a chao comeback ?

Though that said, I wouldn't say 'no' to a Chao reappearance either. |

Strengh isn't really the major point here. We have three strong enemies that are spread around. And whou would soon start killing some people. Even someone who could beat one at ease, would prob take longer than how the other two groups would resist agains them. And if Eva do appear and can really beat an Averrencus with ease, another idea would be for her to face the Master of the Grave. She does sound powerful to me!

Also, it'd be annoying if Negi has to be bailed out by Eva again, although it's still better than seeing an Ala Alba massacre. Chao looks like a better choice, especially since she could have a dead set of ancestors if the new Averrunci are as crazy as Quartum and Quintum appear to be. But I still wouldn't bet on it. |

I made a bet with a friend that IF Eva appears and IF she fights an averruncus (my money is on the fire one) that she would NOT have an easy time with him/her. People are still massively underestimating the enemy or overestimating Eva.
