Brief Background

Like the rest of Thomas Kluize’s crew aboard the Archangel-class Riviera, Caster is a total blank in TSAB’s database, though from Sophia’s testimony, for her Oni-chan was none other than Kluize himself, Caster is the latest member to be added to the crew for even the Knight-sister has never seen her before.

The TSAB has never encountered Caster anywhere either, despite the Riviera’s inexplicable time-hopping capabilites.

What they do know is that Caster has appeared near places where Relics and Lost Logia often appear soon after, hanging around until the Riot 6 returns to base that she disappears as suddenly as she appeared.

Once she became the target of the Drones themselves, indicating that she might be a Lost Logia. Caster’s reply was nothing short of awesome: triple-casting Starlight Breaker EX, Plasma Breaker EX and Ragnarok Breaker EX at the same time, destroying the entire Gadget force and creating so much tremors in the ambient mana that there was earthquakes within 20 parsecs of Mid Childa. By the time Riot 6 got to her, Caster had disappeared once more.

The rookies once saw Caster in person, having somehow managed to teleport into the Riot 6 base, overriding all the anti-transport measures they had. They thought she was a ghost, and fled in terror. But Erio had a spine-chilling story to tell: He saw that Caster had jagged red markings on the only visible part of her, the lower face, for the rest was shrouded in a cloak signature of most Caster-type tsukaima.

The Aces are still wondering. Could it be…?

Why am I writing these before Part VI, I don't know.

Brief Background

An unknown entity known as Zero due his first appearance noted to be around Zero Space following a low-key dimensional flux within private properties. Sightings had been noted ranging from 10 years ago on 2 occasions, but the frequency of appearance multiplied almost around the same time Caster appeared. However, unlike Caster, there was absolutely no sense of previous existence or knowledge about Zero, be it in regular "Unknowns" database or even the Infinity Library.

Any attempts to lock the coordinates of Zero seem to be in vain, as there seem to be a permanent dimensional distortion of very low wavelengths, not enough to cause a dimensional breakdown, but enough to create a chaff effect surrounding him, preventing any form of long-distance tracing. Thus, there had never been an actual physical encounter, aside from noted physical damages caused by Zero along with long-distance survelliance sightings.

His last known appearance was 8 years ago, nearby Uminari City...coincidentally around the time Reinforce Zwei was born. He appear for several minutes doing nothing to just dissapear again...until now.

His purpose and reasons unknown, he seems to appear within a range of 100 to 200 kilometers away from where Caster appears.

The latest sighting of Zero nearby the Belka Regions coincidentally was handled around the same time a group of spawn-worms, believed to be caused by possible leakage of Relic energy source, appeared. A huge flash of light followed by continous sounds of slammed metal prevented the surveillance system to catch what happened, but in an instant, the spawn-worms were all dead, with several fine holes through their bodies.

The diameter of each one of those holes are exactly the same as Meister Hayate's Swertekruez.

It is presumed that Zero is possibly affliated to Scagliette, due to his appearance that matches Caster's acts of Gadget destroying and also the recent Relic-related event. As said earlier, there had been no genuine human sighting of Zero before, but there was a short audio capture of Zero just before the system was disrupted.

Zero: The Throne...is moving. There is not much time left...If I don't at least grant her-*audio dies*

Kha: A staff-blader with black and white wings? I recall Hayate mentioning something like that when...*blushes*

I don't know about credibility on Kha's case, but mine kinda involves a memoric reconstruction from the original creator, also applying dimensional instability taking into account former accounts of the Book incident that involves severe energy and by extention, memory-based programming code electrowave disturbance that allows her appearance even when she's technically dead. :3

The real problem I'm seeing right now is on what particular time phase to put the events involving her in. The Necrons haven't been completely dealt with yet, the Einsts are yet to appear en masse, we're starting to delve even even deeper into Erio's fanfic-only domain and we're having a problem with several incoming overpowered Ace-aspirants.

Mabiko removed her lost logia and proceeded to put them on the table one by one, removing her armor completely and returning to normal, in the process spliting Comet Booster apart into Caucasus, Judaicus, and the Nova Booster, whose form was that of a hornless beetle, as the three looked at Mabiko in curiousity. Releasing her hair from the ponytail, she beckons for the Nova Charger into her hand.

Mabiko: You know of how I came about Star Core and Eisenfach, but the real truth is to be revealed. Everything started with the Nova Charger...

*FLASH*

Mabiko: It was a fringe world I was living on, outside of TSAB jurisdiction. I was an orphan, taken in by a retired mage. We had our normal law enforcement and everything, but the true terror was that of artificially enhanced humans under the command of Bolter. I was among the abducted at a young age during that time for my talents and hopes that mutating me would increase my power...while my guardian killed while we slept before my abduction.

Mabiko is seen strapped to an operating table, eyes wide in fear as a needle sunk into her arm. Her scream of pain could be heard down the hall joining the other howls of those being mutated as well as those already mutated.

Mabiko: However, the scientist responsible for my mutation seemed to still have a shred of conscience who only changed my ears and added a tail while secretly slipping me my guardian's devices. I was then rescued by a rogue enhanced human who was part of a secret project that Bolter's army was conducting.

A crash is heard down the hall, accompanied by yells. The door to mabiko's holding cell burst open as an armored man stalked in. Frightened, Mabiko curled up, her arms over her head trying to protect herself as one of her guardian's devices was loosely strapped to her left arm while the other dangled by its chain clutched in her right hand. The armored person approached and cradled her in his arms, mindful of her new tail.

Armored Man: Your guardian was a dear friend of mine. I will not allow them to turn you into one of them...

Mabiko: Who...are you?

Armored Man: I am...Masked Battler.

Mabiko: I remained with him and his allies, until the TSAB came to investigate a huge power outburst caused by the suicidal Inferno Column Kick of Battler unit 3. Aided by the TSAB, Bolter's army quickly fell. In the final assault of Bolter's base, I stumbled upon the scientist who spared me, clutching a cocoon of sorts.

Scientist: You're...Mabiko?

Mabiko stumbled back a few steps, her ears alert and tail bristled.

Scientist: ...So you did escape...

The scientist coughed up blood as he held out the cocoon.

Scientist: Take...this, chi...ld, and...walk...your own....path. 'Tis...a...burden...few can...take...

As the dying hand falters, Mabiko catches the now freefalling object before it drops. The object pulsated as the cocoon cracked open to reveal the newborne beetle.

Scientist: ...Good, maybe...you can...change your fate...after all...

Mabiko: And with that, the scientist breathed his last dying breath. I escaped the base with the baby beetle in my protection. I never knew the scientist's name, but he showed mercy. However, I was forever an outcast. unlike the Masked Battlers who were humans with physically enhanced bodies or high power battle armors, I was a mutant with no place to go. When I told the Battlers of my decision to travel, many of them opposed and asked for me to remain. However, Battler 1 knew of my sorrow and gave me the changer belt that was in the top secret lab of Bolter's base. As soon as i slipped it on, the young beetle changed into what looked like the changing device fitted for the machine while Eisenfach chimed a message signaling that integration of new part was complete. As the changing device opened up, I saw the code entered.

Mabiko: 614-4463...I guess that's my destination.

Battler 1: Is that so? Take care of yourself now and remember your guardian well.

Mabiko: As I slotted the cellphone in, a Hexagon Formation appeared below me as I transported across the dimensions to my destination. When I arrived, I looked to the sky, and saw a bright red star near the moon for a brief moment...

*FLASH*

Mabiko: This ends the origin of the Nova Charger...

The little silver beetle skittered back to its siblings as the twin katanas flew into her hand.

Mabiko: ...and begins the origins of Murakumo and Kusanagi. Do we need a break?

Mabiko looks around the room to see Zaphira putting on a defeated look as her daughters slept on top of him. Mabiko then noticed that Hayate wasn't in her spot and felt a looming presence behind her as Hayate encircled her arms around Mabiko's neck in a "hug".

Hayate: Continue...unless you want the punishment to begin...

Mabiko felt the arms retreat and felt Hayate's hands slipping past her armpits and panicked.

Mabiko: Eek! I'll continue...

*hears an old nuke alarm sound.*

I was fighting a war, and I could die any day with just a moment of carelessness, and I don’t even know anything about Tiara other than the fact that she’s…Tiara.

The both of us smiled at the dryness of our interaction. Awkward even, perhaps.

Though really…it was unexpected. Meeting her like this again…

The other woman’s cough brought us back. Trapped in our own world like that… how embarrassing. Even Tiara’s looking away right now, even when I’ve already turned my head away.

She sounded hesitant, like the last of the sentence carried a different weight.

“You seemed melancholic…sad, as you sat here. Even more so than when you were at the grave.”

She…noticed. I closed my eyes, and stared out to the ocean, illuminated by the moon light. My hand plucked out a flower from the ground, as I showed her.

The moonlight flower. One of the few flowers that can survive the painful terrains of the desert lands, and also one of the most beautiful, as they shine a bluish-white under the moonlight, just as their name implies.

“This place…was the beginning of my dreams.”

“Once I met… a man from across the ocean here.”

I told her my story.

Long ago…I met a man. Clear complexions, with a long hair reaching towards his back, and clothes, eccentric and noble in presence… He called himself a traveler, as he traveled to places for 3 days in search and gain of knowledge, before setting off to another…Never staying in one for more than 3.

I used to be merely a simple boy… I never thought of ambitious things…thinking it was just fine to live my world within the circle it was provided…but I was wrong.

I heard stories. Things I never thought imagined happened all across the world. Interesting people. Interesting things. There are endless things the eyes, ears, mouth…everything that can be felt, imaginable to the human thought. Before I realized it… I wanted to see it myself. The world for what it is.

“Saga…to become strong, is to understand how weak you truly are. All humans reach their limits one day. It’s not shameful to admit that, but it is to deny or to give in to it.”
Using his sword, he dug a hole to plant a small flower on an empty plain.

Okay, the next one will have a short-time skip for sure. Since I can't be bothered to make Tiara-Saga Meeting #5,6,7,8 along with skirmish #9568456. It'd ruined the flow.

Oh, and Shamal's never seen Saga since she's not one to fight in the frontlines clearly, and even so, only Signum recognizes him for sure.

Brief Background

In the course of an one-dimensional organization’s progression into deeper space, it never fails to find masses of lesser intelligent beings, some that are on par, various levels of threats, and one impossibly transcendent being.

Thomas Kluize first appeared on TSAB radar 60 years ago, when he released an incredible amount of mana to destroy a demon trying to teleport to an unknown location, but by the time they got to him, the 20 year old exocist had disappeared without a trace.

Little did they expect him to reappear a year later, in another dimension, aiding a 10 year old boy teacher and his class of 31 15 year old girls in battling the forces of evil. What was even more baffling was that he had aged 6 years. Kluize disappeared before TSAB found him once more.

Half a year later, 20 year old (his age mysteriously back-peddling from the last encounter) Thomas Kluize appeared with the indestructible ship Riviera and laid waste to a key installation of the attacking Invid, providing the GDI with an opening to punch through and push back the alien force.

A month later, on a world monitored by TSAB, 24 year old Thomas Kluize and his new partner in sliding Anna Wayne hijacked a ship strikingly similar to the Riviera and disappeared.

A year later, a massive jump was detected near Langrange outpost. And the Riviera was there again, providing support fire to a group of 3 magic knights against an invasion by other planets within its star system. They fielded a squad of mecha that the TSAB had never seen before.

And there it was. At several historical events in Mid Childa and Velka history, there was one crucial person who turned things around that could be identified. They all went by different names, but the common pattern was that these individuals all had part of their first or last names starting with “K”.

Needless to say, Thomas Kluize became wanted as a criminal for interference in Non-administrated regions, for there was no other sensible way to charge a person with time paradox crimes, especially when he had not committed any real felony. For the next half a century, many Enforcers would try and fail to catch this slippery eel as he continued to appear and influence that world’s history. Clyde failed to stop him; so did his son. Even the Aces and their Knights were soundly defeated, with Wolkenritter knocked senseless by Kluize before their devices could even shout “Exprozion”, and Nanoha and Hayate bounded in chains that they could not break. Fate dodged the bind and tried to slash Thomas, but he stopped Bardiche with his finger, and with a look of sadness on his face, disappeared again.

For the first time after that, Thomas Kluize disappeared for almost 4 years. Then during the AlternateS arc, the Riviera reappeared, and aided the Silvana from the shadows at first, then openly later in the Holy Grails War for the Sealed Devices. Kyla put a good word in at the end of the war, and a hush-hush arrangement was made with the Riviera: “Remain in the shadows as the Bureau’s hidden punch, and we’ll drop all charges.”

The unpredictable 31 year old Thomas Kluize did a turnaround and agreed. That marked the last time Kluize has been known to “time hop“, for the man has since admitted dubiously that “there has been many individuals” like him before from other dimensions, and that he made himself “look like he was time traveling with illusions and transformation magic to throw the TSAB off his tracks“.

As usual, he has plenty of bad-blood within the TSAB, though not with the Aces, for he both intrigued, impressed, yet frightened them. And he has much interest in Kha, though its in the negative sense, calling him idealistic and naïve, that his wish to protect everyone in the multiverse was an impossible and self-destructing cause, reminding him that “To save a person meant not saving another“. Thomas acts brusque, pessimistic and apathetic to everyone he interacts with.

However, in spite of his bellicose attitude and independent demeanor, Thomas is seen to care deeply for some people, namely Fate, Sophia (who calls him Oni-chan), Erio, Caro, Allison, Carim and Sakura. As far why is this the case, is anybody’s guess.

Brief Background

What we know of Linda is from Amy’s one time successful hacking into Riviera’s database when Chrono almost shot down the Riviera.

Linda Prime was once LIN, a powerful AI found in a dimension that hinted at one of Earth’s possible future developments. LIN resided in a machine called an Orbital Frame, and was shut down when Kluize recovered her. Since then, ever since the crew traveled to the 28th where they met a desperate scientist trying to get home, she has gained a persocon body and an advance learning algorithmic package called CHOBIT. She later installed a copy of the “Kusanagi Ghost” In-shell combat program and with cloning technology stolen from a psychic tyrant from another dimension, Linda became Linda Prime with her army of persocon clones. This clone army was further upgraded with contact with another alien race.

The clones are organized into teams:

Warriors

The most spammed version of Linda Clones. Teams of pulse gun wielding persocons deploying into an intense firing line makes the Riviera a force to reckon with in standing ship-to-ship firefights. A recent upgrade is when the Kusanagi Ghost was adapted for the lesser minds of the Linda Clones, allowing them better melee prowess than before. They have since been issued pulse pistols for close-in fights with gun-fu levels almost equivalent to the Saint Church’s elite Silent Trinities.

Battlesuits

The step between Linda Warrior and the Slaughter Daggers, the Linda Battlesuits are the main equipment of higher-level warriors deployed by Linda Prime, and may be used by Linda herself. They are exoskeletal suits that give the wearer extra strength, better sensors, and more protection, as well as the ability to carry heavier weapons into battle.

All battlesuits of the same type are given a designation: XV, followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the mass class of the suit: '1' being a complete exoskeletal version of standard body armor, while '8' represents the heaviest available battlesuits. The second digit indicates the role or status of the particular suit design: '2' marking an experimental design, '5' representing stealth capability, and '8' being heavy fire support. Variations of a suit may be given other numbers as well, with the new built in thrusters they can operate well in zero-gravity environments too. So far, the TSAB has recorded Stealthsuits, Crisis suits and the extra-heavy Broadsides.

Drones

Independent copies of Linda’s mental programs, the Linda Drones are used for a variety of civil and military functions. They normally require regular instructions from Linda to function, although if four or more drones are networked to operate in unison, they become capable of operating independently of Linda Prime. Drones that are linked to a control device cease to function if the controlling Linda Clone is destroyed, or if the drones move more than a set distance from the controller.

Drones are designed to fulfill a set role. The most common drone designs are:

-Gun drones are armed with a pair of pulse carbines and are the most common drone type used. They can accompany any Linda Clone possessing a control device, whether he be in a battlesuit or leading an infantry team. In addition, gun drones are often used as weapons systems for the Battlesuits, Daggers, and Astrays.

-Shield drones are assigned to protect the Riviera usually. They are equipped with powerful energy shields and are programmed to block weapons fire intended for their controller with their shields. If necessary, the drone will physically intercept the incoming fire.

-Marker drones are equipped with an advanced markerlight system, and through the use of the control device can improve the accuracy of the operator and anyone else in the operator's team.

-Sniper drones are a recent development. A single Linda Clone equipped with an advanced control and targeting system can utilise up to three sniper drones to provide accurate anti-personnel fire. The drones themselves are armed with a rail rifle, and project a distortion field that makes the drones and their operator difficult to hit.

-Heavy Gun Drones are larger, more powerful drones armed with a pair of Burst Cannons. Some drones will replace one of the Burst Cannons with a Markerlight.

-Drone Sentry Turrets are airdroppable turrets often used to hold areas ahead of the main Clone forces. They are armed with a variety of Battlesuit weapons, such as Missile Pods and Plasma Rifles.

-DX-4 technical drones are used as a standard utility drone but are often employed on battlefields as mechanics or medics. Used in cityfights as the combat engineers strategem.

Super Stargraspers

The aerospace superiority fighter of the Riviera. Upgraded twice from the Cosmo Grasper, this fighters carry spare Slaughter gear into battle, and hence can also double as high-speed interceptors with Dagger firepower.

Slaughter Daggers

The heavy mecha usually flown by Linda and her highest-level clones in space combat as well as ground assaults when the battlesuits aren‘t enough. These stolen and upgraded machines can equip weapon packs not unlike those of Kha’s Zaku suits.

Brief Background

With mobile suits now becoming in integral part of the war on both sides, the Earth Alliance begins constructing Archangel class mobile suit carriers to replace the lost Archangel. As a result, the Dominion, Virtue, Power and a massive fleet command variant Seraph would be produced hopefully to turn the tide of war in EA‘s favor. The Seraph is 20% larger than the original Archangel, with improved radar system, more powerful fission engines and more space to hold more mobile suits.

However, in early May CE 71, an unknown force infiltrated and hijacked the 80% completed Seraph from right under the EA’s nose, destroying the uncompleted Virtue and Power in the process. As much as the EA tried, the Seraph ultimately disappeared into deep space despite its state of incompletion. To prevent further intel leak, a gag order was enforced, and only Dominion made it to the battlefield.

Thomas Kluize and the Seraph, now renamed Riviera, made a return just before the Junius 7 incident that sparked the second war. This time, the Riviera was not just completed, but was extensively rebuilt and upgrade to almost double its original size, and packed enough weapons to contain ORB’s new Masamune fighters.

LOGOS was conducting underground upgrading of the ORB Astray units at that time, and the result was the Astray Black Frame “Kurohane”, the Masamune’s semi-transformable predecessor. They also had in their possession a relic from the first war, the Astray Silver Frame “Sakurazaki”, the experimental predecessor of Akatsuki. And what Riviera practically did was plow through the front guard as though they weren’t there, walk up to the front door of the war factory, plunder the entire facility lock, stock and barrel, and disappear like a ghost again, leaving the ones in charge scratching their heads over what the heck just hit them.

Ever since then, the Riviera has made its mark on TSAB’s Most Wanted, seemingly warping through both time and space as when she appears she may lack certain capabilities, and the next moment have more, then on the next encounter seem to have equipment of somewhere in between. And with the TSAB’s own “Arc-en-Ciel” being officially up to Mk. 27, Rivera’s “Arc-en-ciel Mk. 72” looks like it came from the distant future.

The very fact that Riviera could just do an extremely long distance jump into an area, do an exceptional amount of damage, then disappear as TSAB warships were deployed had everyone scrambling all over. Chrono managed to heavily damage Riviera once, when it supposedly failed to jump into a dimension and was stranded in voidspace as its engines recharged. The Riviera escaped, but that only added to Chrono’s already astounding portfolio.

The decision to arrest the crew was somewhat divided in the higher-ups. First of all, the crew were only guilty of a technicality: In violation of TSAB’s Non-Interference in Non-Administrated Areas Act. Second of all, whatever they did, that dimension seemed to come out better off than it would otherwise have. And lastly, sometimes the Riviera appears to be aiding TSAB forces against more difficult criminals, especially when it was instrumental for winning the 2nd Velka Uprising launched by Skane, and containing the threat of top trans-dimensional villian codenamed “Fangwang”.

Kha went over the details once again in his head. Artei found Yuuno, and through him found Kay and brought her to the now destroyed "Hand of Danaan" Barracks. Sophia had successfully located Aurion and was now dragging him to his home to run tests on the captured mechanical specimen. Allison's on her way back to the office after spending some time with Fate and was bringing some food with her.(Yes that bit has been changed Fuyu)Keroko remained at the Riot 6 base to keep the Aces company after this "Castor" person appeared and spooked Hayate out.

Brief Background

What we know of Linda is from Amy’s one time successful hacking into Riviera’s database when Chrono almost shot down the Riviera.

Linda Prime was once LIN, a powerful AI found in a dimension that hinted at one of Earth’s possible future developments. LIN resided in a machine called an Orbital Frame, and was shut down when Kluize recovered her. Since then, ever since the crew traveled to the 28th where they met a desperate scientist trying to get home, she has gained a persocon body and an advance learning algorithmic package called CHOBIT. She later installed a copy of the “Kusanagi Ghost” In-shell combat program and with cloning technology stolen from a psychic tyrant from another dimension, Linda became Linda Prime with her army of persocon clones. This clone army was further upgraded with contact with another alien race.

Linda Prime and the Clone Army

The clones are organized into teams:

Warriors

The most spammed version of Linda Clones. Teams of pulse gun wielding persocons deploying into an intense firing line makes the Riviera a force to reckon with in standing ship-to-ship firefights. A recent upgrade is when the Kusanagi Ghost was adapted for the lesser minds of the Linda Clones, allowing them better melee prowess than before. They have since been issued pulse pistols for close-in fights with gun-fu levels almost equivalent to the Saint Church’s elite Silent Trinities.

Battlesuits

The step between Linda Warrior and the Slaughter Daggers, the Linda Battlesuits are the main equipment of higher-level warriors deployed by Linda Prime, and may be used by Linda herself. They are exoskeletal suits that give the wearer extra strength, better sensors, and more protection, as well as the ability to carry heavier weapons into battle.

All battlesuits of the same type are given a designation: XV, followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the mass class of the suit: '1' being a complete exoskeletal version of standard body armor, while '8' represents the heaviest available battlesuits. The second digit indicates the role or status of the particular suit design: '2' marking an experimental design, '5' representing stealth capability, and '8' being heavy fire support. Variations of a suit may be given other numbers as well, with the new built in thrusters they can operate well in zero-gravity environments too. So far, the TSAB has recorded Stealthsuits, Crisis suits and the extra-heavy Broadsides.

Drones

Independent copies of Linda’s mental programs, the Linda Drones are used for a variety of civil and military functions. They normally require regular instructions from Linda to function, although if four or more drones are networked to operate in unison, they become capable of operating independently of Linda Prime. Drones that are linked to a control device cease to function if the controlling Linda Clone is destroyed, or if the drones move more than a set distance from the controller.

Drones are designed to fulfill a set role. The most common drone designs are:

-Gun drones are armed with a pair of pulse carbines and are the most common drone type used. They can accompany any Linda Clone possessing a control device, whether he be in a battlesuit or leading an infantry team. In addition, gun drones are often used as weapons systems for the Battlesuits, Daggers, and Astrays.

-Shield drones are assigned to protect the Riviera usually. They are equipped with powerful energy shields and are programmed to block weapons fire intended for their controller with their shields. If necessary, the drone will physically intercept the incoming fire.

-Marker drones are equipped with an advanced markerlight system, and through the use of the control device can improve the accuracy of the operator and anyone else in the operator's team.

-Sniper drones are a recent development. A single Linda Clone equipped with an advanced control and targeting system can utilise up to three sniper drones to provide accurate anti-personnel fire. The drones themselves are armed with a rail rifle, and project a distortion field that makes the drones and their operator difficult to hit.

-Heavy Gun Drones are larger, more powerful drones armed with a pair of Burst Cannons. Some drones will replace one of the Burst Cannons with a Markerlight.

-Drone Sentry Turrets are airdroppable turrets often used to hold areas ahead of the main Clone forces. They are armed with a variety of Battlesuit weapons, such as Missile Pods and Plasma Rifles.

-DX-4 technical drones are used as a standard utility drone but are often employed on battlefields as mechanics or medics. Used in cityfights as the combat engineers strategem.

Super Stargraspers

The aerospace superiority fighter of the Riviera. Upgraded twice from the Cosmo Grasper, this fighters carry spare Slaughter gear into battle, and hence can also double as high-speed interceptors with Dagger firepower.

Slaughter Daggers

The heavy mecha usually flown by Linda and her highest-level clones in space combat as well as ground assaults when the battlesuits aren‘t enough. These stolen and upgraded machines can equip weapon packs not unlike those of Kha’s Zaku suits.

Brief Background

With mobile suits now becoming in integral part of the war on both sides, the Earth Alliance begins constructing Archangel class mobile suit carriers to replace the lost Archangel. As a result, the Dominion, Virtue, Power and a massive fleet command variant Seraph would be produced hopefully to turn the tide of war in EA‘s favor. The Seraph is 20% larger than the original Archangel, with improved radar system, more powerful fission engines and more space to hold more mobile suits.

However, in early May CE 71, an unknown force infiltrated and hijacked the 80% completed Seraph from right under the EA’s nose, destroying the uncompleted Virtue and Power in the process. As much as the EA tried, the Seraph ultimately disappeared into deep space despite its state of incompletion. To prevent further intel leak, a gag order was enforced, and only Dominion made it to the battlefield.

Thomas Kluize and the Seraph, now renamed Riviera, made a return just before the Junius 7 incident that sparked the second war. This time, the Riviera was not just completed, but was extensively rebuilt and upgrade to almost double its original size, and packed enough weapons to contain ORB’s new Masamune fighters.

LOGOS was conducting underground upgrading of the ORB Astray units at that time, and the result was the Astray Black Frame “Kurohane”, the Masamune’s semi-transformable predecessor. They also had in their possession a relic from the first war, the Astray Silver Frame “Sakurazaki”, the experimental predecessor of Akatsuki. And what Riviera practically did was plow through the front guard as though they weren’t there, walk up to the front door of the war factory, plunder the entire facility lock, stock and barrel, and disappear like a ghost again, leaving the ones in charge scratching their heads over what the heck just hit them.

Ever since then, the Riviera has made its mark on TSAB’s Most Wanted, seemingly warping through both time and space as when she appears she may lack certain capabilities, and the next moment have more, then on the next encounter seem to have equipment of somewhere in between. And with the TSAB’s own “Arc-en-Ciel” being officially up to Mk. 27, Rivera’s “Arc-en-ciel Mk. 72” looks like it came from the distant future.

The very fact that Riviera could just do an extremely long distance jump into an area, do an exceptional amount of damage, then disappear as TSAB warships were deployed had everyone scrambling all over. Chrono managed to heavily damage Riviera once, when it supposedly failed to jump into a dimension and was stranded in voidspace as its engines recharged. The Riviera escaped, but that only added to Chrono’s already astounding portfolio.

The decision to arrest the crew was somewhat divided in the higher-ups. First of all, the crew were only guilty of a technicality: In violation of TSAB’s Non-Interference in Non-Administrated Areas Act. Second of all, whatever they did, that dimension seemed to come out better off than it would otherwise have. And lastly, sometimes the Riviera appears to be aiding TSAB forces against more difficult criminals, especially when it was instrumental for winning the 2nd Velka Uprising launched by Skane, and containing the threat of top trans-dimensional villian codenamed “Fangwang”.

Kha went over the details once again in his head. Artei found Yuuno, and through him found Kay and brought her to the now destroyed "Hand of Danaan" Barracks. Sophia had successfully located Aurion and was now dragging him to his home to run tests on the captured mechanical specimen. Allison's on her way back to the office after spending some time with Fate and was bringing some food with her.(Yes that bit has been changed Fuyu)Keroko remained at the Riot 6 base to keep the Aces company after this "Castor" person appeared and spooked Hayate out.

He looked back at the desk.

Kluize... Of all times, why now... Help us instead of hindering us for once please...

There was still one question to be answered, but that had to wait till Sophia returned. And so the Cleric kicked back in his armchair and looked out the window.

Uh... It's just the "Flying Dutchman". I gave the Riviera that nickname for its similarities in actions with the maurauding ghost ship from the original seaman's tale. In no way did I design the crew, despite the apparent Chinese references, with Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightly, and Chow Yung Fatt. Si Fong maybe, but... Too bad I didn't have more time... Like Hikki, Thomas is a trans-series person, and his loot reflect the nature of his adventures.

I'm surprised you didn't catch the blatant FSN ref for Thomas Kluize. Man if I reveal Thomas' real identity Time Space will tear itself asunder. I'm sure Lowe and Aaron might go crazy with the GS ref, and everyone else with my Tau Guncannon Boyz!

What's with that level of haxxor!? Even the combined powers of my Black Fangs and the (( upcoming Dark Asura/Claudia )) counterpart, NecroDrive isn't that god powerful.

And I've gotta say, I dunno if we think alike or what, but you seem to always be 30 steps ahead of me. I plan on revealing my psuedo-Rein ressurection idea after finishing Story of Saga, but poof! We've got ourselves a Rein I ressurrection possibility right here and now, which involves 3 factions, from your l33t dimensional monsters, to TSAB's affiliates to my flower-shop managing lone-wolves. And this Pirate thing as well.

Mabiko removed her lost logia and proceeded to put them on the table one by one, removing her armor completely and returning to normal, in the process spliting Comet Booster apart into Caucasus, Judaicus, and the Nova Booster, whose form was that of a hornless beetle, as the three looked at Mabiko in curiousity. Releasing her hair from the ponytail, she beckons for the Nova Charger into her hand.

Mabiko: You know of how I came about Star Core and Eisenfach, but the real truth is to be revealed. Everything started with the Nova Charger...

Mabiko: It was a fringe world I was living on, outside of TSAB jurisdiction. I was an orphan, taken in by a retired mage. We had our normal law enforcement and everything, but the true terror was that of artificially enhanced humans under the command of Bolter. I was among the abducted at a young age during that time for my talents and hopes that mutating me would increase my power...while my guardian killed while we slept before my abduction.

Mabiko is seen strapped to an operating table, eyes wide in fear as a needle sunk into her arm. Her scream of pain could be heard down the hall joining the other howls of those being mutated as well as those already mutated.

Mabiko: However, the scientist responsible for my mutation seemed to still have a shred of conscience who only changed my ears and added a tail while secretly slipping me my guardian's devices. I was then rescued by a rogue enhanced human who was part of a secret project that Bolter's army was conducting.

A crash is heard down the hall, accompanied by yells. The door to mabiko's holding cell burst open as an armored man stalked in. Frightened, Mabiko curled up, her arms over her head trying to protect herself as one of her guardian's devices was loosely strapped to her left arm while the other dangled by its chain clutched in her right hand. The armored person approached and cradled her in his arms, mindful of her new tail.

Armored Man: Your guardian was a dear friend of mine. I will not allow them to turn you into one of them...

Mabiko: Who...are you?

Armored Man: I am...Masked Battler.

Mabiko: I remained with him and his allies, until the TSAB came to investigate a huge power outburst caused by the suicidal Inferno Column Kick of Battler unit 3. Aided by the TSAB, Bolter's army quickly fell. In the final assault of Bolter's base, I stumbled upon the scientist who spared me, clutching a cocoon of sorts.

Scientist: You're...Mabiko?

Mabiko stumbled back a few steps, her ears alert and tail bristled.

Scientist: ...So you did escape...

The scientist coughed up blood as he held out the cocoon.

Scientist: Take...this, chi...ld, and...walk...your own....path. 'Tis...a...burden...few can...take...

As the dying hand falters, Mabiko catches the now freefalling object before it drops. The object pulsated as the cocoon cracked open to reveal the newborne beetle.

Scientist: ...Good, maybe...you can...change your fate...after all...

Mabiko: And with that, the scientist breathed his last dying breath. I escaped the base with the baby beetle in my protection. I never knew the scientist's name, but he showed mercy. However, I was forever an outcast. unlike the Masked Battlers who were humans with physically enhanced bodies or high power battle armors, I was a mutant with no place to go. When I told the Battlers of my decision to travel, many of them opposed and asked for me to remain. However, Battler 1 knew of my sorrow and gave me the changer belt that was in the top secret lab of Bolter's base. As soon as i slipped it on, the young beetle changed into what looked like the changing device fitted for the machine while Eisenfach chimed a message signaling that integration of new part was complete. As the changing device opened up, I saw the code entered.

Mabiko: 614-4463...I guess that's my destination.

Battler 1: Is that so? Take care of yourself now and remember your guardian well.

Mabiko: As I slotted the cellphone in, a Hexagon Formation appeared below me as I transported across the dimensions to my destination. When I arrived, I looked to the sky, and saw a bright red star near the moon for a brief moment...

Mabiko: This ends the origin of the Nova Charger...

The little silver beetle skittered back to its siblings as the twin katanas flew into her hand.

Mabiko: ...and begins the origins of Murakumo and Kusanagi. Do we need a break?

Mabiko looks around the room to see Zaphira putting on a defeated look as her daughters slept on top of him. Mabiko then noticed that Hayate wasn't in her spot and felt a looming presence behind her as Hayate encircled her arms around Mabiko's neck in a "hug".

Hayate: Continue...unless you want the punishment to begin...

Mabiko felt the arms retreat and felt Hayate's hands slipping past her armpits and panicked.

Mabiko: Eek! I'll continue...

Weapon: A spear called Thousand Cross, which is English for the Tausend Kreuz. Only uses this when he is serious in slaying the target. Otherwise, he fights unarmed and yet still being able to cast most of his magic.

Brief Background

In the course of an one-dimensional organization’s progression into deeper space, it never fails to find masses of lesser intelligent beings, some that are on par, various levels of threats, and one impossibly transcendent being.

Thomas Kluize first appeared on TSAB radar 60 years ago, when he released an incredible amount of mana to destroy a demon trying to teleport to an unknown location, but by the time they got to him, the 20 year old exocist had disappeared without a trace.

Little did they expect him to reappear a year later, in another dimension, aiding a 10 year old boy teacher and his class of 31 15 year old girls in battling the forces of evil. What was even more baffling was that he had aged 6 years. Kluize disappeared before TSAB found him once more.

Half a year later, 20 year old (his age mysteriously back-peddling from the last encounter) Thomas Kluize appeared with the indestructible ship Riviera and laid waste to a key installation of the attacking Invid, providing the GDI with an opening to punch through and push back the alien force.

A month later, on a world monitored by TSAB, 24 year old Thomas Kluize and his new partner in sliding Anna Wayne hijacked a ship strikingly similar to the Riviera and disappeared.

A year later, a massive jump was detected near Langrange outpost. And the Riviera was there again, providing support fire to a group of 3 magic knights against an invasion by other planets within its star system. They fielded a squad of mecha that the TSAB had never seen before.

Then, even more confusing was when the Riviera reappeared on the planet where Thomas had hijacked the Seraph earlier, and stole the mecha that they deployed some time ago. This led to the conclusion that Thomas and the Riviera somehow had the ability to travel back and forward in time. TSAB dug deep into their records…

And there it was. At several historical events in Mid Childa and Velka history, there was one crucial person who turned things around that could be identified. They all went by different names, but the common pattern was that these individuals all had part of their first or last names starting with “K”.

Needless to say, Thomas Kluize became wanted as a criminal for interference in Non-administrated regions, for there was no other sensible way to charge a person with time paradox crimes, especially when he had not committed any real felony. For the next half a century, many Enforcers would try and fail to catch this slippery eel as he continued to appear and influence that world’s history. Clyde failed to stop him; so did his son. Even the Aces and their Knights were soundly defeated, with Wolkenritter knocked senseless by Kluize before their devices could even shout “Exprozion”, and Nanoha and Hayate bounded in chains that they could not break. Fate dodged the bind and tried to slash Thomas, but he stopped Bardiche with his finger, and with a look of sadness on his face, disappeared again.

For the first time after that, Thomas Kluize disappeared for almost 4 years. Then during the AlternateS arc, the Riviera reappeared, and aided the Silvana from the shadows at first, then openly later in the Holy Grails War for the Sealed Devices. Kyla put a good word in at the end of the war, and a hush-hush arrangement was made with the Riviera: “Remain in the shadows as the Bureau’s hidden punch, and we’ll drop all charges.”

The unpredictable 31 year old Thomas Kluize did a turnaround and agreed. That marked the last time Kluize has been known to “time hop“, for the man has since admitted dubiously that “there has been many individuals” like him before from other dimensions, and that he made himself “look like he was time traveling with illusions and transformation magic to throw the TSAB off his tracks“.

As usual, he has plenty of bad-blood within the TSAB, though not with the Aces, for he both intrigued, impressed, yet frightened them. And he has much interest in Kha, though its in the negative sense, calling him idealistic and naïve, that his wish to protect everyone in the multiverse was an impossible and self-destructing cause, reminding him that “To save a person meant not saving another“. Thomas acts brusque, pessimistic and apathetic to everyone he interacts with.

However, in spite of his bellicose attitude and independent demeanor, Thomas is seen to care deeply for some people, namely Fate, Sophia (who calls him Oni-chan), Erio, Caro, Allison, Carim and Sakura. As far why is this the case, is anybody’s guess.

Brief Background

What we know of Linda is from Amy’s one time successful hacking into Riviera’s database when Chrono almost shot down the Riviera.

Linda Prime was once LIN, a powerful AI found in a dimension that hinted at one of Earth’s possible future developments. LIN resided in a machine called an Orbital Frame, and was shut down when Kluize recovered her. Since then, ever since the crew traveled to the 28th where they met a desperate scientist trying to get home, she has gained a persocon body and an advance learning algorithmic package called CHOBIT. She later installed a copy of the “Kusanagi Ghost” In-shell combat program and with cloning technology stolen from a psychic tyrant from another dimension, Linda became Linda Prime with her army of persocon clones. This clone army was further upgraded with contact with another alien race.

The clones are organized into teams:

Warriors

The most spammed version of Linda Clones. Teams of pulse gun wielding persocons deploying into an intense firing line makes the Riviera a force to reckon with in standing ship-to-ship firefights. A recent upgrade is when the Kusanagi Ghost was adapted for the lesser minds of the Linda Clones, allowing them better melee prowess than before. They have since been issued pulse pistols for close-in fights with gun-fu levels almost equivalent to the Saint Church’s elite Silent Trinities.

Battlesuits

The step between Linda Warrior and the Slaughter Daggers, the Linda Battlesuits are the main equipment of higher-level warriors deployed by Linda Prime, and may be used by Linda herself. They are exoskeletal suits that give the wearer extra strength, better sensors, and more protection, as well as the ability to carry heavier weapons into battle.

All battlesuits of the same type are given a designation: XV, followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the mass class of the suit: '1' being a complete exoskeletal version of standard body armor, while '8' represents the heaviest available battlesuits. The second digit indicates the role or status of the particular suit design: '2' marking an experimental design, '5' representing stealth capability, and '8' being heavy fire support. Variations of a suit may be given other numbers as well, with the new built in thrusters they can operate well in zero-gravity environments too. So far, the TSAB has recorded Stealthsuits, Crisis suits and the extra-heavy Broadsides.

Drones

Independent copies of Linda’s mental programs, the Linda Drones are used for a variety of civil and military functions. They normally require regular instructions from Linda to function, although if four or more drones are networked to operate in unison, they become capable of operating independently of Linda Prime. Drones that are linked to a control device cease to function if the controlling Linda Clone is destroyed, or if the drones move more than a set distance from the controller.

Drones are designed to fulfill a set role. The most common drone designs are:

-Gun drones are armed with a pair of pulse carbines and are the most common drone type used. They can accompany any Linda Clone possessing a control device, whether he be in a battlesuit or leading an infantry team. In addition, gun drones are often used as weapons systems for the Battlesuits, Daggers, and Astrays.

-Shield drones are assigned to protect the Riviera usually. They are equipped with powerful energy shields and are programmed to block weapons fire intended for their controller with their shields. If necessary, the drone will physically intercept the incoming fire.

-Marker drones are equipped with an advanced markerlight system, and through the use of the control device can improve the accuracy of the operator and anyone else in the operator's team.

-Sniper drones are a recent development. A single Linda Clone equipped with an advanced control and targeting system can utilise up to three sniper drones to provide accurate anti-personnel fire. The drones themselves are armed with a rail rifle, and project a distortion field that makes the drones and their operator difficult to hit.

-Heavy Gun Drones are larger, more powerful drones armed with a pair of Burst Cannons. Some drones will replace one of the Burst Cannons with a Markerlight.

-Drone Sentry Turrets are airdroppable turrets often used to hold areas ahead of the main Clone forces. They are armed with a variety of Battlesuit weapons, such as Missile Pods and Plasma Rifles.

-DX-4 technical drones are used as a standard utility drone but are often employed on battlefields as mechanics or medics. Used in cityfights as the combat engineers strategem.

Super Stargraspers

The aerospace superiority fighter of the Riviera. Upgraded twice from the Cosmo Grasper, this fighters carry spare Slaughter gear into battle, and hence can also double as high-speed interceptors with Dagger firepower.

Slaughter Daggers

The heavy mecha usually flown by Linda and her highest-level clones in space combat as well as ground assaults when the battlesuits aren‘t enough. These stolen and upgraded machines can equip weapon packs not unlike those of Kha’s Zaku suits.

Brief Background

With mobile suits now becoming in integral part of the war on both sides, the Earth Alliance begins constructing Archangel class mobile suit carriers to replace the lost Archangel. As a result, the Dominion, Virtue, Power and a massive fleet command variant Seraph would be produced hopefully to turn the tide of war in EA‘s favor. The Seraph is 20% larger than the original Archangel, with improved radar system, more powerful fission engines and more space to hold more mobile suits.

However, in early May CE 71, an unknown force infiltrated and hijacked the 80% completed Seraph from right under the EA’s nose, destroying the uncompleted Virtue and Power in the process. As much as the EA tried, the Seraph ultimately disappeared into deep space despite its state of incompletion. To prevent further intel leak, a gag order was enforced, and only Dominion made it to the battlefield.

Thomas Kluize and the Seraph, now renamed Riviera, made a return just before the Junius 7 incident that sparked the second war. This time, the Riviera was not just completed, but was extensively rebuilt and upgrade to almost double its original size, and packed enough weapons to contain ORB’s new Masamune fighters.

LOGOS was conducting underground upgrading of the ORB Astray units at that time, and the result was the Astray Black Frame “Kurohane”, the Masamune’s semi-transformable predecessor. They also had in their possession a relic from the first war, the Astray Silver Frame “Sakurazaki”, the experimental predecessor of Akatsuki. And what Riviera practically did was plow through the front guard as though they weren’t there, walk up to the front door of the war factory, plunder the entire facility lock, stock and barrel, and disappear like a ghost again, leaving the ones in charge scratching their heads over what the heck just hit them.

Ever since then, the Riviera has made its mark on TSAB’s Most Wanted, seemingly warping through both time and space as when she appears she may lack certain capabilities, and the next moment have more, then on the next encounter seem to have equipment of somewhere in between. And with the TSAB’s own “Arc-en-Ciel” being officially up to Mk. 27, Rivera’s “Arc-en-ciel Mk. 72” looks like it came from the distant future.

The very fact that Riviera could just do an extremely long distance jump into an area, do an exceptional amount of damage, then disappear as TSAB warships were deployed had everyone scrambling all over. Chrono managed to heavily damage Riviera once, when it supposedly failed to jump into a dimension and was stranded in voidspace as its engines recharged. The Riviera escaped, but that only added to Chrono’s already astounding portfolio.

The decision to arrest the crew was somewhat divided in the higher-ups. First of all, the crew were only guilty of a technicality: In violation of TSAB’s Non-Interference in Non-Administrated Areas Act. Second of all, whatever they did, that dimension seemed to come out better off than it would otherwise have. And lastly, sometimes the Riviera appears to be aiding TSAB forces against more difficult criminals, especially when it was instrumental for winning the 2nd Velka Uprising launched by Skane, and containing the threat of top trans-dimensional villian codenamed “Fangwang”.

Kha went over the details once again in his head. Artei found Yuuno, and through him found Kay and brought her to the now destroyed "Hand of Danaan" Barracks. Sophia had successfully located Aurion and was now dragging him to his home to run tests on the captured mechanical specimen. Allison's on her way back to the office after spending some time with Fate and was bringing some food with her.(Yes that bit has been changed Fuyu)Keroko remained at the Riot 6 base to keep the Aces company after this "Castor" person appeared and spooked Hayate out.

He looked back at the desk.

Kluize... Of all times, why now... Help us instead of hindering us for once please...

There was still one question to be answered, but that had to wait till Sophia returned. And so the Cleric kicked back in his armchair and looked out the window.
