Thanka!

Seikan Hikou cover - a cover of Seikan Hikou by another Japanese artist, of whose name I've forgotten.

Prologue F - on piano (string effects)

Ranka no Iteza - although May'n did all the work. XD

PV for May'n Live in Budokan (DVD and Blu-ray)
Of course, lots of MacF songs in this one.

Neko Nikki ENGLISH cover.
I must say, the original was pretty "meh" for me, but this version...is just...adorable. I like this tone of voice better. The lyrics are nice too. *u*

Best Sheryl Pon design EVER. *q*

May'n Live in Budokan looks pretty damn epic. Also loving the 80s look she has during the first half of the trailer.

& yes i agree with you raile, easily the best pon design so far. That whole video is just wow, seriously wow.

Hey guys! Long time no see.

Anyway, those videos were really good!

Ranka no Iteza - shouldn't be called that. They're both very pretty (May'n and Megumi) but the way 'Ranka' sings it is... uhm, weird... It's low key, for me. Or maybe I got used to 'Sheryl's' version. Anyway, Ranka was just back-up at most.

May'n Budokan - That was so good! I've watched separate videos of it already and she's so good!

Nekko Niki - That was so cute! And the voice beats Ranka's, though Ranka's voice has its own charm. Never heard of the Japanese version before, I'll search for it later.

Sheryl Pon - Cute! Although some of the dance moves were awkward. Also, I was hoping Alto'd jumped down at the end. Anyway, LOL at Sheryl's top view!

Megumi can't sing that song. Megumi doesn't have May'N's powerful voice so that's why her version is weak. I really want to find Megumi's "Voices" though, she sang it so beautifully.

A pretty good Italian version of Diamond Crevasse.

This may not be place for it but I'm going to ask anyway.

I'm trying to figured out what song some background music came from during the first 40 seconds of episode 14 of Macros Frontier. The music plays right from the start of the episode to the OP.

Any ideas or leads would be much appreciated, but if the is the wrong place for a post like this feel free to flame me into oblivion.

Since there's a lot of May'n fans here I thought you would want to know about May'n new single. Midonin posted about this in the Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi thread.

Sample here

To the ones with a nico account, you can listen to Ranka's solo of Lion here.

I'll post my opinion later.

Conversely, you could just buy the CD, like I did.

I'm saving my money for something else.
I must say though I'm glad NakaMegu didn't use her cutesy voice like in her other songs here, well, at least not all that much. I prefer her more when she doesn't use the Ranka-tone.

You're right, it seems like she toned that down. The funny thing is that she developed that "cutesy" voice during the movie run. I didn't really hear too much of it in the series songs. Megumi's solo Lion is pretty good but I still prefer the duet

Ranka Lion, to me, isn't very good. Her version doesn't have that power that Lion should have. Also, some parts were messy and other parts made her sound as if she were trying to catch up with the music. That's my two cents.

In a somewhat related note, I like her Call Me song. 8D

Now all that needs to be asked is...were there any recordings of this epic concert? I would love to hear Voices along with Northern Cross and Triangular once again. This makes me wish I had the opportunity to travel and watch this concert

It was indeed a great concert. They performed exceptionally well, and sang songs that was not in their standard routine. Yoko made a surprise appearance, and all is well with the world.

Nonetheless, having them sing a duet of Lion really feels like being bounced on both opposite ends of the spectrum. May'n's powerful voice simply cannot be complimented well by Megumi. Megumi belongs to a category of singers such as girl-band AKB48 or other idol gigs, while May'n is best singing alone.

Thank you for the link but I actually already saw that one I went straight to youtube as soon as I read a review on how many songs the concert contained. Surprisingly, all my favorite titles were there. Hopefully somebody uploads them, I'm crossing my fingers.
