I thought this when I read the manga and I thought it again when I watched this most recent episode. WTF is Alibaba retardedly naive or something? He thinks he can just end the match because he "lost"? What a fucking moron to not understand a fight to the death.

Oi, oi, he's from a totally different culture. 'Gladiator' is just another word for fighter - it only gives off the feeling of 'death match participant' because of Rome. I'll give the fact that they introduced Garda as one who 'has killed over one gladiators' for its intro... But knowing him, an arena like that might say anything to sensationalize a fight.

But I'm sure *your* first Genre Savvy thought when entering a completely different country's fighting system is to kill your first opponent as well... -_-

Moving on... I want a Fanalis girl of my own~ If that one girl is any indication, Morgianna is going to be drop dead gorgeous in a few years.

Mu and Muron are half-breeds. It's unknown which parent is original from Reim, but it's safe to assume it was their father and he was incredible enough to father a second child with the same Fanalis woman.

all these talk about "breeding" turns magi into a "mature" audience anime, LOL (not like Alibaba is trying already)

Also, looks like this season of Magi is keeping with the manga plots (no anime original, at least not yet, not sure if they'll do anything different at end, tho they kinda already showed the end at beginning of first episode...)

Maybe they finally realized how awesome Alibaba is in the manga instead of the weird anime original in s1.

PS: Alibaba could probably handle those "breeding", since he can already endure certain amount of hug strength before he pops, and it looks like he can fix the broken parts (ape fight, lol)
That and he already have "experience" with a certain night club "#1 lady" LOL.
If Alibaba can get through that, he can get through anything.

Aladdin studying magic in Magnoshutatt.
Alibaba training in Leam Empire.
Morgiana visiting her homeland (the Dark Continent).
So far they have been pretty much successful with slight hiccups.
Interesting how you can run into friends in most unexpected places.
Morgiana's adventure seems promising.
An interesting encounter in the middle of nowhere looked suspicious.
The new character, Yunan, gave her a hard choice..
Hakuryu doesn't look like an innocent young boy anymore.
Looks like a lot has changed and not only his personality.

well it look like they add filler to the part with Morg and is was ok, specially since Morg's part was too short in the manga, also it was good they add Alibaba's brothers since they didn't do it season 1.

I have to say something about how she was climbing down made the scene seem cooler than it should have been

. Definitely a handy application for her household vessel.

Was nice to get some Morgiana back after the past few episodes

. Though certainly proof that you can't get past the kind of trauma she's been through that quickly. At least she's got some cool sonar so she can function in the dark even if it only brings up bad memories.

Just a rough position Morgiana is put in. She can't just go and meet up with her people to decide if that's where she wants to be long term. She has to make a choice either to come all this way and still not see any Fanalis or never see Alibaba and Aladdin again on top of going to live with people she's never met (aside from one other Fanalis).

Did I miss something? Why can't she just come back? Is it physically impossible for her to do what she just did and climb back down the other side when she wants to go back? If this is something that gets answered later then I'll just have to wait.

I assume there's some reason that upon reaching the other side where the Fanalis are you literally can't get back. It certainly wasn't very clear why it's impossible, just that it is impossible. Whatever getting to that other side involves it seems that Morgiana is still considered on the opposite side, just climbing down wasn't reaching that point of no return.

Likely the norm for any Fanalis climbing down there would be that they wouldn't care about not being able to go back so they just accept it without any issue.

Hopefully it's explained just what it entails to get from where Morgiana is now to the Fanalis and why it's impossible to do a reverse trip.

Guess he wasn't as ready for the arena as he thought. It was just sad watching that fight... Seems like he needs to be near death to get a grip and start fighting.
