But I still have no idea what to think about this series ... and I read somewhere that the LN are really high in list of copies sold too.... Well ... I guess we will see.

My connection is misteriously slow... I envy you, seriously, more if I add the fact you read the novels... ;_; I can't wait as well. |

Oooh. Funny. I enjoyed ep1. I see just about no sign of a plot, but I still enjoyed it. Lots of nice visual touches. And I loved a couple of the voices: Yuuki Aoi as glasses-girl gave us more of her unique sounds and got a chance to show off just how fast she can speak. And Kayano Ai did the straight black hair girl beautifully, with a new voice. Maybe Kayanon really is good. I already know Ao-chan is.

Only the Japanese could come out with a fighting show that revolves around bentos. LoL. Was pretty entertaining, in a totally mindless way.
I spent some of my childhood in Hawaii, and I remember stopping at a local supermarket prior to going to school to grab a bento for lunch and how fast the good ones would sell out and the crowd of people around the bento table, so I suppose the idea of people fighting over them isn't a far stretch from that. On another note, even after years of eating those bentos for lunch, I never did develop a liking to the always present slice or two of Takuan in them.
