Yeah,if there's one composer that can come up with a score that makes a fight scene over bento really badass,it's him.

You know, after thinking about it it really is an excellent seiyuu cast selection....

But I still have no idea what to think about this series ... and I read somewhere that the LN are really high in list of copies sold too....

Well ... I guess we will see.

Actually, niconico has broadcast ep 1 already
you can go and watch it if you want to
I don't have nico account so I haven't watch it
people (who has read the novel) said the adaptation is good and the cv also do a great job
I am very excited to wait for the airing

My connection is misteriously slow... I envy you, seriously, more if I add the fact you read the novels... ;_;

I can't wait as well.

Only 3 days left
what can you expect from this anime?
a lot of action (they fight everyday)
comedy
and a little fan-service
(and lots of man-service, thanks to Hana!)

Oooh. Funny. I enjoyed ep1. I see just about no sign of a plot, but I still enjoyed it. Lots of nice visual touches. And I loved a couple of the voices: Yuuki Aoi as glasses-girl gave us more of her unique sounds and got a chance to show off just how fast she can speak. And Kayano Ai did the straight black hair girl beautifully, with a new voice. Maybe Kayanon really is good. I already know Ao-chan is.

if i were to judge the series of this season for ep 1 this would be the best do far, this anime delivered in so many ways, i can now see how such a ludicrous setting can be doing so well as Ligth novel.

The first episode of this series has me convinced of the appeal of making your lunch at home. In any case, this series has some potential depending on how the next couple of episodes go.

Only the Japanese could come out with a fighting show that revolves around bentos. LoL. Was pretty entertaining, in a totally mindless way.

I spent some of my childhood in Hawaii, and I remember stopping at a local supermarket prior to going to school to grab a bento for lunch and how fast the good ones would sell out and the crowd of people around the bento table, so I suppose the idea of people fighting over them isn't a far stretch from that.

On another note, even after years of eating those bentos for lunch, I never did develop a liking to the always present slice or two of Takuan in them.

I could imagine an American version of this series involving Walmart for some reason.
