Still, the end result is the same. No lives were lost. Though in this rare instance, the anime leaving out these details actually made it have much more sense, and in a way more awe-invoking.

Your setting is unique, though if it were ported to my world, the attack on the base was done by Ea, as it has the same combined arms pattern signature of this group. Considering that these guys are elite, have survived fighting an IS, and the counter-IS force is being set up by G8 armies... I'd have a different story planned. But that's just me.

Haven't thought that far, but I know Riz, Gin and most of all Celeste can kill if required. Celeste would also be the least bothered by having killed someone.

Just that I haven't got a reason to shoot someone down yet, as the plot does not call for it.

Also, to correct something mentioned in the previous page, Rafael Revive is not the only one that can switch, Blue Tears was shown to do the same with a pair of knives, but Cecilia doesn't like CQC, the anime didn't even bother to mention it.

Quick and dirty: The reason Senator Walangsilbi manages to be reelected consistently and get away with his twenty-seventh mistress with no one the wiser is because Patrolman Escado takes the flak for everythign stupid the Senator does. Oh by the way, Patrolman escado's wife divorces him, his kid hates him, he's thrown off the police force and the news media portray him as a corrupt cop....sound familiar to you Box?

I should have explained it earlier, but the scenes are post in this thread are really set to change. As each way I discover to write the story better, so does the scenes change. Only when I publish a fic on FFnet is it set in solider stone.

The reason why I'm declaring this now is that I'm scrapping all 6 scenes I've written up to now. They'll appear in the prequel starring Kajie, but right now the prologue has grown way too clunky to be even called a prologue. Instead I'll give it its own chapter, in another fic.

So with this new direction, its 1 scene for the prologue, then we get to present day proper. Look forward to it, cos that's coming out tonight.

If you listened to that song in full, you;d see where I was going. And given that IS is technically having children go off and fight in the belief that it's not that dangerous or life-threatening, there's parallels to the first two world wars in that sense.
