Title needs no explanation. My top 2:

Yumeria - With Mone-chan, Neneko-chan, and Koneko (the cat) it dominates all things kawaii. Especially koneko! "Na no! na no!" God shes so cute I want to just hug her and kiss her all over! Not to mention Kuyo and Mizuki are really cute themselves

Fruits Basket - Just left me with that constant "Aahh so cute" feeling the whole series. I need to go buy the DVDs

Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat is the cutest anime EVER. It is impossible for any anime to trump its cuteness factor. It is so cute, it has driven people INSANE.

Though Kokoro may be cute, Kokoro Library is not really a cute anime

What about PitaTen and Bottle Fairy? The cuteness factor in these two shows is through the roof!

That's your opinion. Personally I don't care for Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat.
I found it more annoying than cute, but I also don't care for most of Di Gi Charat series.

"kawaii" is such a lame word....I suggest "moe~."

All the above mentioned titles are very "moe~" animes that are very "ha~ ha~"

Some very moe~ series

Yumeria you can't beat this one in insane kawaii (or moe~ whatever you wanna call it) - ness . Mone-chan is so

and Neneko is so

, and don't get me started on the cat, that one is sooooo adorable

Chobits well when Chii looks at me with her very innocent look, I melt away...

Di Gi Charat Nyo and Bottle Fairy : well those little people are meant to be the cutest ever

and it works ...

Kokoro Library simply has a cute art style. The content itself is not as cute as many other things.

Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat is one of the worst anime titles I've ever seen. However, that doesn't mean that it isn't the most vomit-inducingly cute series I've ever seen. EVERYTHING in the show, from the character designs to what they do is just too cute. Unfortunately, it was one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.

If we're talking moe~, definitely Yumeria is a top pick in this category. Pure unabashed cuteness throughout, even when it takes a serious turn.

I think that Sister Princess (now licensed) and Sister Princess RePure would also fit in this category. The series' permeate this cute sort of romantic aura.

Tons of anime, in fact almost all of my favorites, have cute characters and their fair share of cute moments - I won't even to begin to list them all. But, if we apply kj1980's definition of moe~, we are talking about shows where the innocence of the girl characters makes you want to hug and protect the them sort of like an older brother would protect a younger sister.

I'm afraid that I have to agree with the jellyfish. I am something of an consoir of kawaii anime. While many cute anime have been mentioned in this thread, the most absolutely kawaii one is Panyo Panyo DiGi Charat. I should point out to kj1980 that while the word kawaii may be passe in Japan these days, it would be hard to apply that word to this, while kawaii undeniably applies.

If anyone of you have never seen Panyo Panyo DiGi Charat, then you cannot imagine the incredible levels of kawaii which this show reaches. It might be lame, it might be bad, it might just be one of the most irritating shows I have ever seen in my life, but Oh My God it is Kawaii!

Onegai Twins.. though it got a little too repetitive, the whole deal with "We might be stranger, yet we might be related" was, imho, its epiphany of kawaiiness.
