This looks way better than Powerpuff Girls, which is fine considering it's from 1998. Anyway, I chuckled quite a bit.

Certainly sounded like him. Particularly the screaming.

Gaed! That whole thing was better then drugs! Especially the whole pole dance thing. Reminds me of that kick-ass Pole Dance Hero game they got over on Adult Swim.
Anyways, here's a bunch of gifs I made from that scene.
Spoiler for Animated gifs:

Twas better than drugs and sex!!

Honestly it was an experience, just like Gurren Lagann was. Just of a different flavor.

Awesome show, great way to start le week-end!

Yhep, that scene was awesome and oh so dirty... the whole show is dirty dirty dirty... but I'm still not sold. The animation seemed a bit too rough to me or maybe too jerky, not really sure how to put it. Now I know it's a matter of the style gainax is going for but, as I was already afraid, I don't know if it'll work for me. That and the stories: I enjoyed the second tale quite a bit but wasn't really anything special and I must say the first one didn't really do much for me but that's mostly because bathroom humor is not my cup of tea (aka I'm not really fond of fart/barfing/sh****g jokes).

Now one thing that did stand out to me was the soundtrack. Not the OP but the tracks that played through the episode and even the ED but I'll have to listen to them more closely when/if it comes out.

Also, did anybody get the Ultraman(?) reference with the exploding ghosts? It's like they filmed actual models getting exploded.

I think that's exactly what they did. It sure looked like a model to me.

It's a trick of the trade in toku, but seeing it pass over into an animated medium is a surprise indeed.

The "transformation" scene is by far the best transformation scene ever, fact!

How anyone can say that using one's panties or stocking as weapons or having a plumber die by suffocated by the stench of a clogged up pipe and becoming a giant pile of evil poo that wants to drown the city in poo is bad/crap/unoriginal or whatever is beyond me.
The entertainment factor is def there and boy does it entertain!

This show ain't absurd, it's magnificently absurd!

Stocking is <3

Hope we get moar of the "transformation" scene was awesome.

Actually my favorite scene beyond the riff on Mahou Shoujo genre was the train part, where he goes beserk, and Gainax rehashes the art style from TTGL, it evokes strange feelings of GAR I dunno why, but yea this is show is easily my favorite this season.

Hmm, I didn't exactly love this episode, but I didn't hate it either.
It was alright.

I absolutely love the soundtrack though.
It's damn catchy (especially during the transformation scene)
To be honest, I only bothered to check the series out just for the art style alone.
Other than that, I don't really expect much from P&S.

Not bad, and yeah, that transformation scene kicked ass.

Suppose every episode will be in this double-plot format?

It's a well-aged format used by a lot of Western shows, and quite a few anime too. So yes.

Checked the credits and he's not in it. At least not yet. But Shinichiro Miki was the announcer in the second half... ("Is it because that bitchy partner isn't around? What happened to that bitchy partner?!")

And this show is absofuckin'lutely awesome. The ghost destruction had me rolling, both times... This is a keeper and then some...

EDIT: I just realized I need to make that scene where Stocking readies her sword on the hood of the car (especially the part with the hairflip) into an avatar. Amidst all the swearing, and fanservice, and poop, and sex, that was pretty frickin' sweet...and quite possibly the purest PPG homage in the entire episode... ^_^
