The IDOLM@STER Million Live! is getting a TV anime adaptation.

A livestream event to commemorate the third anniversary of the The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days smartphone game announced on Saturday that Bandai Namco Entertainment's The IDOLM@STER Million Live! smartphone and browser game is inspiring a television anime adaptation.

Shinya Watada (Aikatsu Stars! film, Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE) is directing the anime at Shirogumi Inc., and Yoichi Kato (Aikatsu!) is overseeing the series scripts.

Can't help but compare it to the only other idolmustard series I've seen, U149. Unfortunately the directing and character arcs weren't nearly as interesting in this one.
