I agree with this to the infinity. I DO NOT WANT STUDIO DEEN. But looking from the trailer, it's probably not Studio DEEN. Looks more like A-1 Pictures with me with such smooth animation. The colours and the filters reminds me of Kuroshitsuji.

I am late to the party. I just seen the trailer like 2 days ago. I am amazed by such animation for a BL series. I don't mind it just having some undertones anyway, looks good enough as it is.

Pilot's animation always tend to be better.../hopes the series can live up with the pilot...

Because it is in TV format, I don't found than contains yaoi scenes (more 18+ than all ages ; sex scenes (or something hentai) have not been allowed if it is formatted TV series.) but the anime version is safe for work, even the blood, gore and violence didn't.

Hardly anything surprising in there, especially not Konno Naoyuki's involvement with the close resemblance the trailer shared with DitVB. He's written a short message on the website, stating that he wants to make a series that "people who would normally stay away from BL would watch anyway". (ＢＬだからって敬遠している人にこそ見てほしい。そんな作品にしたいです。) The rest of the message is more or less about staying true to the world of Togainu no Chi.

I find it really interesting that the reason Konno got to know Togainu is because he saw the fanbook (or seemingly official guidebook or w/e you want to call it) and just love the art, kind of like thousands of those who find the existence of the game Oh Tatana and Nitro+ colourists, your art is seriously trapping people to the dark side attract people so much, eh? <3

A-1 Pictures is gooood (budget please~ I know A-1 is only in love with the moe/hi-advertised shows it makes but, but... Still I want to believe that they will give a bit, biiiiit more effort to shows that cater to fangirls ;_; ). Waiting for the announcement of the VAs, as much as I know it would be the original or it just won't be okay

What, noooooooooooo. That is just a stab in the heart for all fangirls who enjoyed the game. Douchebags, thanks to who do they think this project is even possible. *butthurt* When will we ever get a badass bl anime then? It's like the only thing we can possible get that is near that, is stuff like uragiri wa boku no namae o shitteru. No thanks.

Eh, is it? I get it as "BL hint, PG-13 hints, but with actions all around, and staying true to its original settings" than "No BL scene at all, all only actions" :3 If it really want to stay true, then they would have to

I'm still not seeing explicit scene, and actually darn happy if I get more actions than BL scenes. I still prefer tugging scenes than R-18 ones (BLATANT LIES) in a way.

Yeah, I understood it the same way as Natsuki did. There was no doubt that this wasn't going to be explicit since this is a TV series after all, but Konno's comment is probably saying they're not getting rid of BL but hope your non-fangirl watcher will stick around because the rest (i.e. the action & the plot) is enjoyable as well. Plus I doubt they'd have gotten Natsuko Takahashi if they were going to annihilate all hints of male love.

At least I can actually have some expectations for the animation. I'm not too bothered with them toning down the anime to attact some 'normal' audience, possibly fangirls of Code Geass/Gundam that might not be obessed with BL? Or male audience that doesn't mind some BL hints (I have no idea whether they exist or not...)?

They could always add the more explit scenes with the DVD as a bonus...

It's possible this airs during summer, but I'm guessing fall would be more likely. A-1 Pictures already got Kuroshitsuji II for summer.
