I don't dislike the troll. In fact I love it. It's a master troll.
What I don't like is the bad romance between the main characters. Draging their relationship for no good reason. Showing Zessica caring while Mikono is not. Amata moping over trivial stuff instead of taking action. Most of their interaction had been about Mikono being pissed off and Amata making excuses for things he isn't responsible of. basically bad interactions and no development. How am I supposed to root for that ? |

That's the first time I see the "painful" rating being the viewers' first choice.
So EVOL decides that being crap isn't enough, it needs to crap on its previous incarnation as well. This serie has served as a testimony of what anime should never attempt to do for quite some time now, yet it manages to go deeper into the depths of mediocrity each week. Beware, shock value and facepalming for everyone. After all this months (years?) we finally learn that Amagura was Apollo who happened to be a blue winged dog who was in loved with Celianne who was diluted into Sirius and Silvia who was then diluted to the brink into Mikono. And at long last, Shrade kicked the bucket. Pretty unemotional scene. Zessica, like the audience, got trolled, once again. At least this episode throw enough random stuff to divert most of the cast from the "screaming ship in my head" syndrome, except for Zessica... sigh. Here's a good summary http://tenka.seiha.org/2012/06/aquar...-23-woof-woof/ |

HAHAHAHA, I fucking knew Apollo wasn't Apollonuis!!
Out of all the reincarnation shit that was happening in Sousei, Apollo=Apollonius was never truly confirmed. Hell, in the last few episodes they specifically mentioned that Apollonius was reincarnated into Aquarion, and I was left wondering who the hell Apollo was supposed to be. Now I know!

Sacrificing quality for the sake of trying to out-smart the audience, and it's weak because of that. |

hm, there are 2 good things I like from this ep :
- the return of Solar Aquarion~ - the increase of my disinterest to Aquarion Evol SRC / figure aka save my money! I give it 2 of 10 (not 1) just because of those 2 things. and hopefully all of the negative aspect in this anime will get better in SRW.. >_> |

Casting Mikono away would be a great step forward for Amata's character. The one thing I didn't like is the return of Mixy and Andy in the preview. I was expecting they would at least leave those 2 alone. TT I did like the bit about Zess and Mykage. Why does he need her body is my bigger interest at the moment. |

It would be a great step forward. She's obviously showing a lot more initiative with Kagura than Amata. Cast off Mikono and get the detachment wings back. Mix and Andy are 2 characters that we like so chances are that, like a Lancer in the Fate series, things might get worse. The Zess and Mykage part was good. His interest in her reminds him of himself because they both feel unloved. Some twisted sort of kindred spirit thing. Since Mykage is the dark half of Touma, then maybe Zessica is the light half? |

Personally, I never thought of ApolloniusxCeliane as a great love kind of thing, so I'm not disappointed about this twist much. He was a douche with loyalty issues, for being able to just toss out his fiance (!) of who knows how many thousand years for some random chick he randomly met a couple of times.
And she was a dirty mistress/homewrecker/that girl everyone hates in RL. So I'm quite amused at how Celiane's soul got trolled into believing she's with Apollonius again when it was actually just a dog who wants to hump her. KARMA Not to say I didn't like them- but honestly, in a sense they had it coming... From the perspective of EVOL though, I'm not sure how I feel about this, and it's hard to guess. I hope Zuul is right, and the whole AmataxMikono thing might get discarded. I can't see a way to redeem these two if they stay together :/ |

I'm almost wondering if they did it to try to foster audience sympathy with Toma. To the shadow angels, the humans were ants beneath their consideration, so he was shocked that Apollonius fell for one - but the audience, being human, wasn't thinking "eww, humans!". Whereas now we have Celiane's reincarnations falling for a guy who reincarnated from a shadow angel who took the form of a dog. And I don't think it's fair to go "eww, a dog!" when Apollo and Amata really are human, but maybe people taking that opinion should be understanding Toma better. |

You guys need to lighten up. It was pretty funny, IMHO.
Plus, all the references in the original series to Apollo as a dog now make perfect sense. Oh, well... That's what you get, putting two (at least) devious minds to work together.

What I dislike is not that Apollo was not Apollonius or he was Pollon's reincarnation. It is that they went and made Amata-Kagura a bunch of Mikono obsessed bitches. Just like a loyal dog.
I liked Apollo for who he was. He was not a obsessed puppy. He couldn't care less most of the time. How Amata and Kagura come off is like loyal dogs. Also following Kuso-onna or Mikono-san around. Silvia actually had friends and people who cared for her unlike Mikono who seems like one lonely person. So all these factor make me think Amata and Kagura can not actually EVOL into something higher and think differently other than like a dog. Be loyal to the girl forever and ever. It's not something that happens as a human. Amata has not changed in regards to Mikono from the beinnging of he show neither has Kagura. But Apollo did change, he grew as a person. There is difference between Apollo and Amata-Kagura. Apollo despite his animalistic characters had compassion to others around him. He cared for all his friends Reika, Sirius, Rena, Tsugumi, Jun, Pierre. How many people for sure do we know Amata and Kagura actually care about? Just one - Mikono |

Amata may grow out of it. Not so sure about Kagura. In episode 22, they subtly put the MC's behaviour in a bad light. Mykage showing us the way Amata should have acted. Fudou saying the 2 dogs behaviour was worthless, and the cruel 'you alive !!? ' line (very intentionnal). There is still hope. |
