I'm one of those minorities that dislike Beelzebub becoming more and more like generic shounen. Suffice to say, I really enjoy non-Oga chapters lately. Probably the first chapter since chapter 40 or so that makes me smile non-stop.

True its kinda becoming Generic Shounen but I see it more like a parody of Shounen than anything else.

rlly? How bout Use Head (i do believe in japanese they don't use "your" in this case) in the training arc where they had to smash boulders? Oga's still pretty damn funny, or baby beel dance

I don't really see how it's becoming generic shounen, it tends to duck shounen cliches or subvert them. As someone said before, if anything it often parodies shounen mangas.

Tuned out for more than half the chapter before things got real again, though a bit disappointed that Oga isn't being fully trained by the old old man.

The best bit of the chapter 98 without a doubt was Lamia thinking the game wasn't balanced! LOL awesome stuff!

Amount of times I've seen and heard or even thought myslef that a game isn't balanced yet continuing on with the punishment is beyond counting

and dang I love these cover pages that involve Hilda-onee-chan!

I wonder what happened between Saotome and Toujou if he's here now. I thought Toujou is the one wanted special training from beardy.

I'm still hoping for Aoi to make a contract with Hilda. Since they're 'rivals', they are going to unleash some killer combos like no one can.

I started reading this after Aoi's introduction in the anime and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm only up to chapter 62 so I've tried not to read any spoilers whilst scrolling down to this box.

I loved the arc where Oga and Furuichi were pulled into the vortex and got sent to the Demon World. I've not laughed so much whilst reading something in a long time. That goes for the entire series up to now. Aoi getting flustered around Oga, everyone else's reactions to each other always wanting a fight.

I just caught up. Loved the latest chapters where they're playing the war game.

Himekawa gonna bring down the banhammer...Also Oga trains with Saotome using an old radio that materializes a black baby Beel. And ofc being black automatically makes him too strong for anyone Chapter was half-interesting, was kinda hoping they'd stick to one part of the story instead of doing it in halfs, kinda kills the tension with all the switching. Then again, this is gag, so there's not rly that much tension in the first place.
