What happened, to the oldguy? I think he was the chairman, in the anime, they just showed him take off his wig and showing his horns, and that was the last of him in the show.

However, in the anime he goes unpunished ready to give green lights to his evil plan, whatever that may be, and he will go on free unless there's a second season.

Not to mention that he caused everything. He was the real monster. Lucy's mother was going back to the orphanage to take her out and raise her, which would likely have ment no killings. But the Kakuzawa kidnaped and raped her, producing Lucy's half brother. After that her mother comitted suicide.

Holy mutha F! maccoroni yikes, I hope that guy took the worst punishment, then again, all the killing in that show is good enough.

What would have been great was for lucy to have told him the truth about diclonius in his face while alive that they are human beings i would have loved to see kakuzawas face constantly denying it then when he suffered lots lucy takes off his head. sadly it didn't happen this way.

How different is the show from the manga to anime?

well itthe anime follows the manga to a certain point(remember the anime is adaption of the manga)then deviates completely from the manga after that point.

The last few episodes, the Meriko arc, are very different from the Manga at that point.

Kurama did not get blown up, he tried to kill himself after Meriko sacraficed herself to protect him from Lucy. Lucy got her horns blown off and, until they grew back, could only be Nyu. Kouta was not involved and did not get his memories back until near the end of the Manga and the Manga didn't end until last October, long after the end of the Anime.

i just finished the anime series and i have got the japanese comic however i cant read japanese @ all..so i only can guess most of the meaning
just want to know if there is actual english translated comic out there for sale?

not to mention its freakin awsome, this is so far the 1st anime that made be feel bad and sorry after watching it

the timeline is in between ep10-11
it explain things like why didnt lucy kill kurama and how lucy get caught
actually the part she get caught was from comic and it didnt explain clearly how she met the girl and such
