episode 9
1. Hanma Yujiro & Baki
2. Unexpectedly Hot! 3. I think her VA is from Sket Dance (Himeko) This episode delivers unexpected fan service and parodies. I bet the majority of the viewers, did not catch the Grappler Baki one.

So is the prince in this episode one of the Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya)? This was definitely one of the funnier episodes, with so many references, I don't even think I recognized most of them.

not necessarily, his archetype and design its a cliche in old sojo mangas, though its more reminiscent of the rose of versailles:
Spoiler for image:
though this archetype also managed to permeate into some shonen mangas of old, for example kurama's human form from yu yu hakusho, even in saint seiya aphrodite of pisces fills better that spot.

Hayate (hayate no gotoku) the ninja in negima Makiko (Horizon) Anew Returner (Gundam 00) Asuka (Tekken 5 and up) (oh yeah, this is in kansai-ben lol) I'm sure there are others that I can't remember. Oh btw, her nickname called by her closer seiyuu friends is "Uryocchi". I like her performance but can't consider myself a fan. Just happened to have followed an older generation (though not that old really) of seiyuus like her and Nonaka Ai previously in their web radio shows and variety shows (those shows on channels geared to Otaku that you can watch on Youtube or NicoNicoDouga). |

First of all, Nadeshiko continues to make me laugh so much, last ep I was looking forward to her little corner at the end of the ep, and they sped up her air time now in ep 09 she finally gets a speaking role, and it wasn't untill then that I realized that she's related to that tennis guy oh Nadeshiko, making good use of what little screen time she has I gotta say I'm liking the green maid that voice, that mono spectacle, I tell you this series really pushes its voice actresses to the limit, and she did well but why did she have to explode, I hope we see more of her later Quote:
and I'm totally confused, how come Sakura looks so hot with so much clothes on, and that apron, gently caressing her curves... Quote:

Ahem.... But I'm quite surprised; Sweet and adorable as Kozue-chan and Sayo-chan may be, there's not a lot of bounce, or even "service" (endowed OR flat) to Mahoraba that would characterized it as something that would seal it as a "Galvatron favourite!!" Best thing about this series? It was the springboard of the lovely and talented lady of a thousand voices Arai Satomi (the voice of Kozue-chan and all her five personalities), who would later go on to play my darling Kuroko-chan from the To Aru Kagaku No Raigun franchise. And EVERYBODY, paws off Sayo-chan!! All your cute and cuddly mommies are belong to me!! Speaking of parents, I wonder if Ichiko's worthless practically non-existent (physically and emotionally) "Mom" and "Dad" (not worthy of the titles at ALL) will turn up in this season? Takes an EPICALLY fucked up pair of human beings to not be there for their little girl to let her cry in their embrace as a truamtized EIGHT year old, the two worthless motherfuckers!!

I lost it. I don't know why, but the reaction to Ichiko's ... soup had me laughing uncontrollably. Until out of breath, and falling onto the floor. No rolling was involved. Bad cooking, and characters forced to eat said bad cooking is an anime staple, and are usually only mildly funny. The long, one minute drawn out, over the top reaction off screen, while Momiji and Ichiko impassively watch, rung my sense of humor like a bell.
Of course, it wasn't nearly a funny watching it a second time, but the first time through was highly effective. |
