Why do you hate Keith? He had probably seen over 100 people take the test and fail and right before the test the travelers are at their highest. After the test they are completely broken. So why shouldn't he try to stop them?

And heck, he did quite a number on Mai.

I must admit, Keith's one hell of a character~

He's the type of guy who doesn't fit in the Popotan story at all, but he still does enough to make a name for himself.. what a guy. ^_^

I watch this show originally for the ecchi stuff *naked Ai* However i was very suprise by the 2nd half of the series with all seriousness of the time travel and the impact on both lives of the travelers and the people they meet.

Heh, Popotan is one hell of a series - and i gotta say its got one of those stories that makes me wanna rewatch the series again & again, well 'cause of the characters as well. ^^;;

Also, gotta have some of the most depressing scenes ever.

It's just a personal taste I guessed I don't like it when he kissed Ai. I mean they've just met. Would you let a stranger kiss you suddenly & have 'you know what' after just a few days without knowing who & where that person came from? It just doesn't feel right, IMO. I understand that Ai is attracted to him. But that scene may ruin her image a little. It's like that she's willing to do 'that' with anyone who have a good look.

Plus I don't like the way he beat up Daichi. I know it's to protect the secret but still, I don't like the way he act. Wouldn't an explaination be better instead of violence? But I guessed that he doesn't trust human.

I totally understand why you dislike Keith, imo though they're some of the elements that make him stand out as a cool character.

Hmm, can we all agree that Popotan has one of the best musical scores of all time? ^_^

He's cool, I agree. But I like Mea better. Grrrh It really upset me when Keith beat Mea. I guess Mea is like 100 years too early to beat Keith. Damn it!

Understanding why Keith behaved so coldly to them is one thing, forgiving him is another. I dislike him, too. What he said to them is too rude and harsh. However, he was once a rootless traveler like them, and I think he wasn't that spiteful person when he started the travel. I really hope he will get his own place one day.

Concur, I hate Keith too. Nothing in anime upsets/depresses me more than sex without love: That includes rape, deception, or other dark or negative contexts. Episode 7 just ruined the series for me, sigh....

We all know what you mean, but trust me that episode 7 won't seem so horrible once you continue watching and understand how it fits into context. There really is a context and once you see where Ai is coming from it is much less upsetting, though it is still not good. I hate Keith.

It is the mark of a really good show when such a simple episode can disturb the viewer this much.

*Extremely Reluctant*..................... if you say so...... *grits teeth* Its not the first time that a series I loved has been derailed this way for me; Kannazuki no Miko was traumatic, Blood+... I never got past episode 32 of it, and don't know if I'll ever finish that (Diva was my favorite character too).

I don't know. I really don't know. So... nah, still not gonna finish it, will get the OST though.

Good option about buying the OST, Tezuka Osamu did wonders with the musical score for Popotan, one of my fav's~
