What Charred said. Pizza Hut sponsors the show there, but does not do so elsewhere, so using it anywhere but there isn't possible.

This dub was incredible. Top-notch. Johnny Bosch just has such a cool voice, and the guy that played Shinji in NGE as Rolo was an excellent decision.

....Liam O'Brien always gets stuck with the crazy, glass-wearing scientists. Gawd I love him.

Of course because of his voice actor I expected him to show up late in the series with a flying chair. I can't help but imagine that. Priceless.

at first I was kind of like ehh then I saw the Code Geass Sound Drama where Rolo gets jealous and screams "NIII-SAAANNN" when Lelouch and Suzaku kiss I was like oh ok then Spike is a perfect choice for Rolo

@ Ar: oh gawd I loved the voice Liam gave Lloyd and you could tell he enjoyed that role too.

I too loved Liam O Brian as Lloyd:love! My other favorites were; Steven Blum as Tohdoh, and Crispen Freeman as Jeremiah! And Kate Higgins as C.C. was well done also.
All in all they had an excellent cast of VA's on hand for this one!

Imo, the dub was done perfectly. It's one of those rare instances where I thought the dub to be better than the original.

I loved the dub, and prefer it to the original apart from just one character.

What the hell did they do to Nunnally? Maybe it's just because her Japanese voice is so cute, but her English voice just sounds weird and annoying. Though she did do alright at the ending, I suppose.

Now that the dub for both seasons is out on DVD, I may give it a rewatch soon .

The dub for both seasons were done so perfectly

Never found an issue like I usually do with most dubs where its either bad voiceacting/words they choose to say/bad timing.

I wonder though... Who exactly dubbed Code Geass? Would like to see more dubs from them anytime soon.

Magnitude 8/ZRO Limit was the dubbing studio. They've been around for years, and have been responsible for dubs such as Cowboy Bebop and both seasons of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

WoW Magnitude 8/ZRO Limit must be really good at dubbing to the limit o.o.

I liked Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell's dub as well, they were well done in some way.

Yep. To the limit like Strong Bad.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn even directed both Cowboy Bebop and season 1 of GitS: SAC.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (the US VA for Motoko) has directed anime?
I knew she was a singer, and did a episode of Star Trek Voyager back in the day but I had no idea she was also a director.

Thanks for that info azul120.

Yep. She's also directed many episodes of Naruto, as well as many video games. My friend who has worked at Atlus and Konami has worked with her on more than a few occasions.

She also guest starred on Quantum Leap, which got her alongside Scott Bakula.

Spoiler for a little more fun:

Ooh, thanks for the juice on her azul120.

I knew she was a VA in Xenosaga and dotHackSign, but was unaware of her starring in Quantum Leap.

Thank you for that info.

Mary's VA listing and other cool stuff can be found here at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Elizabeth_McGlynn

Wonderful authority-bearing voices! Hazzah!

For me I liked Steven Staley as Asahina. Wicked good. Plus Jamieson Price has always been a favorite of mine, so him doing Schneizel was pretty awesome.

I was about to say Bandai, but then realized you meant dubbing studio, lol.

That's cool, maybe I'll give the GITS show a try.

Jamieson Price was Diethard. Troy Baker was Schneizel.
