Kate is Maria's older sister.

have there been aby news about when the next vol is coming, usually one comes at the end of the tv airing and i was wondering if theres anything about that online.

I haven't seen any official date, but these are the release dates of the previous volumes according to Amazon Japan:

Vol 1: 2009/08/21
Vol 2: 2009/11/21
Vol 3: 2010/03/24
Vol 4: 2010/07/21
Vol 5: 2010/11/20
Vol 6: 2011/05/25
Vol 7: 2011/09/21

That's roughly a four month gap per release on average, so we can probably expect volume 8 by early next year, not too long after the TV series ends.

I wonder how could Yukimura enrolled to St Chronica as a guy, as she was wearing male uniform on her first appearance. Did her parent wrote her gender as male on birth certificate or other documents? XD

maybe in st chronica there isnt any rule about wearing uniforms of one gender or another.

Yukimura wasn't exactly hiding his gender, he was raising believing that he was male and that "he" would grow up the male parts that he lacks with time. Considering that background, his family probably had a pretty good reason to hide his gender in the city register, sans the act would fall apart easily.

We don't know the true story nor it's actual weight yet, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's something weird as him being the inheritor of a Yakuza clan and if he happened to be a girl, then he would have been set of to be executed or something.

She basically did the same thing for Yukimura that she did for Maria in the novels, she grabbed her laptop, gathered material and explained everything on her mind blowing away outside the reader's eyes. We can only fill the dots in the most amazing ways possible.

Just a quick question, is everyone in this thread reading the raw japanese versions? The only translated content available for Boku that I can find are by baka-tsuki, and it ends suddenly at volume 4.

Vexed is the only one translating the novel, so "yeah", all of the knowledge from beyond volume 4 comes from raws. I think that Flere mentioned that the chinese version was quite advanced back in the day, but not so much right now.

Yep, I just read the latest chap, and it's killing me that there's so much unreleased! Great series that deserves to be caught up. If I could find the chinese version, I could translate some of it but I have no idea how far it's advanced....

well there used to be some summaries that came up to volume 5, but that person's blog (seanver) after some problems with the blog he closed it, now his page only hosts oreimos summaries, not sure if hes working on others.

And I chuckled with the beautician guy's comment about Kodaka's hair

Though I wonder, Yozora said that it was her first time going back to hair salon after 10 years, so did she immediately developed her current riajuu-hater personality after Kodaka left?

Honestly, I can't remember much about the manga. But the word is indeed 'rape'. It's used a lot in that chapter. But then again, it may be hard to draw that chapter.

i personally thinks it implies she did it so she look more feminine, and dont have the trouble of beign seen as a boy, but judging from the sumary of kuroishigami that fueled yozoras problem with attachment.

I think I said the Chinese translators aren't 'up-to-date' for other series, not this one. I've read up to vol7 of this series (I think, the site where I usually get this is down right now).

I mean, by now the last volume of Shana would have been finished but they've barely done Ch1 as of right now.

But Shana was a lot more difficult to translate, and given that vol 22 had 405 pages.

Yes, BwTgS is still at volume 7 now. With Vexed dedication, he should be done fairly quickly. (Of course, there can be a boost to the translation speed though)
