Chapter 5 was scanlated. And yeah, we do find out about Kiri. But it still doesn't explain the movements involved in the Ogre's Ring technique.

I still don't get how Kiri does that super-quick carving. Well, it could certainly just be a skill he developed on his own. That kind of dexterity seems to me impossible for a normal human, but perhaps it's just manga being manga. o.o

The pace is so fast and there's so much quick development, I wonder if this series will end in <10 volumes... I hope not, since I like epic. It's nice that they're introducing more detail to the fictional world of Double Arts. I guess one sign that this manga could be a ways from finishing is that we only know 1 out of the four "races" currently. Anyway yeah. Another awesome chapter, although it looks like they've finally shortened the chapter length to the usual.

Well wasn't expecting a play by play for the Ogre's Ring. Guess they just expect us to try and figure the whole thing out. At least it explains why she used his shoulder as a push off. Would double her power and thus create an insanely powerful move.

Interesting enough to find out there are 4 races in that world.

Kiri really is an incredibly unique person. His ability in itself is an amazing thing. Being immune to Troi was just the beginning. Ability to with a big enough chain create power that just blows you away. All of that inside of a really good person.

Nice work dealing with the sister phobia around town as well. Sisters = danger is probably just an easier way to look at the world. Not understanding the specifics of what's safe and what isn't. A disease like that will just naturally make you stay distant from someone. El is probably just used to things being like that. After enough bad experiences stop making the clarification that long as it isn't skin to skin contact its safe.

At least found out about Sui and Kiri's past. She just goes out with so many people at once it really doesn't mean the same thing. She confessed to him 3 times and broke up with him 3 times....

Yeah, it really goes to show you just how well-respected Kiri's reputation is. Just a few words from him, and the townsfolk brush their fears off as if it were nothing.

And about Sui's relationships, does that make her a manizer(or whatever word is the male equivalent of womainzer)?

I wonder if Kiri already knew what to do when Sui jumped on him, that they've fought together before, or at least discussed that move beforehand?

He really is a centerpiece for that community. His ability, but especially just who he is really makes what he has to say important.

Yeah I think that kind of thing would apply to Sui fairly well. Enjoys confessing and then they don't live up to her standards. Then they end up getting dumped . You think she'd pace herself a little instead of dating in the double digits at the same time. Guys are just walking into it. You'd think Kiri would have picked up on it before he got dumped 3 times.

I'd assume they had pulled the move a few times. Probably got into a fight with (mercenaries, thugs, whoever) and Kiri got dragged into it.

It's nice. Very nice. I like the art. I like the ability of the main guy. This has potential people. The big three might become the big 4! Another intressting note. He has parents that are alive! Real blood related parents and they aren't even villains...yet? o_O

What a great chapter was chapter 6. I loved the way they portrayed the sisters' situation, and just show us how mistreated/unfortunate/however you want to call them. This series has been incredible thus far.

Kiri is so.... so... nice and normal. Totally not emo, totally light hearted and reasonable, no personality quirk, very decisive and collected..... Gee... GEEEE!!! When is the last time we see a main character this normal on Shonen Jump?

Have to agree he is a really nice guy. Aside from the immunity to Troi and his ability in general he's pretty normal in personality. Though think El could use someone like that at the moment. Someone who can make her feel accepted and about as normal as someone in her position can be.

Spoiler for Chapter 6:

Really was quite the interesting chapter I think. Got to see the burden that so many of those people were carrying. Already knew how tough it was from looking at El, but are some who have also had it tough. Some getting troi so young that they can't remember what it felt like to touch a normal person. The warmth of a healthy person, quite a sad fate. Quite an eye opening experience for Kiri which gave him more determination to do what he could.

Also interesting to find out that El is a pretty famous sister. Having a resistance that was much higher than the normal sister. Idea that she had helped out thousands of people takes some time to wrap your head around. Used her ability to its limit and would have died in the first chapter if it wasn't for Kiri's help. White Fairy eh .

A pretty good chapter in just seeing how many people are carrying pretty heavy burdens. Lot of lives are counting on them finding some cure.

Not a huge amount of plot development in the latest chapter, but I enjoyed that they took the time to drive home the serious plot aspects. It'll make for better character development later on.

One thing I noticed... they could just hold hands with Elraine, too, if they want, since her hands are also warm now. o.o

Wouldn't holding hands with Elraine spread some of her disease to them? I mean just because she is holding hands with Kiri doesn't mean she isn't still a carrier of a lot of the Troy virus.

No. Sisters have the power to suck in Troy, if two sisters would touch each other. Wouldn't it cancel out? Both are sucking each others Troy.
