Why on earth did SK go for that 3rd turret....they didn't need to...then letting Kassadin slip by....didn't the humiliation of Doublelift's second-splitting miracle backdoor at the S2 World Champs not teach them...

But yeah, xPeke pulling that for Fnatic off literally with 1 hit left on Kassadin...that was gold. xPeke was left on 40HP when he dealt the fatal blow. And if he had fallen, SK would have won within 10 seconds.

All that said - Azubu Frost and Azubu Blaze were light years ahead of everyone else in group stage. Gambit and Fnatic will be lucky to take a game tomorrow. As impressive as Fnatic's comeback was against SK, the manner Azubu Frost utterly destroyed them in was more ominous. I'm sure Korean teams would have been laughing their faces off when they heard Woong got fed so hard so quickly, considering Woong is a perma-joke in Korea now.

And apparently, Azubu Frost decided to crush AL_Poland off-stream with Shen/Akali/Kennen/Zed/LeBlanc just to rub it in. Aka The Four Ninjas and the honorary fifth.

Nobody else besides Kassadin could have pulled that off. I don't care how lucky that was, it was amazing.

I guess they went for 3rd turret because if all three inhibitors are down it not only spawns two super minions instead of one but they all get even stronger than before. They were in the lead even if it wasn't as much as they thought but with all inhibs down the game is over right there.

If SK had sent Elise or Ez back instead, the outcome might have been different. Instead the stars were against SK and they sent bloody Olaf.

Such an amazing finish especially considering it was a life or death game.

So, any feedback on Vi? I actually found her fun to play and pretty decent. Okay passive for early/mid game. Although her Q has a rather long chargeup time (and a far longer cd), it travels a good distance and can also be used at point blank for an extra application of denting blows. Excessive force is fun to poke at while last hitting, although people get used to it after a minute or two, yet it's got a good cooldown, nice base damage and enough range to give Vi some extra lane presence. As for teamfights...I just try to land a good ult and break up the enemy team, pick up a target and then dash out, but I usually end up dead without flash or cleanse. All in all, a good champion, though I won't be buying her till she drops in price.

Vi has to go mainly tank items and a BC. She's reasonable but the problem is there are others who do her role better. I wish Riot would realise that or maybe they just don't know how to. I really hope Vi doesn't end up like Fiora - irrelevant and mainly a marketing/skin tool. Really wish they'd make Fiora relevant too. Which sucks because I love both of them.

No way in hell gambit beats frost.

Unfortunately, as I predicted some time ago, the lol competitive scene is developing more and more exactly like SC2 (or sc:bw before that) - Koreans completely dominating with "foreigners" only now and again playing on an even level for just short periods or so.

This will probably make international tournaments much more boring.

This is going to be one of very few in S3. Once S3 starts, the region locks are enforced. So that just might benefit the Azubus, Najin Sword, World Elite and Taipei Assassins most since they have more intense metas.

And yes, the stream today is a nightmare. I might just resort to vids if this continues.

For a lag-free stream google "nicegametv twitch" btw... with Korean commentators though but still better than the esl stream.

Edit 2: Wow M5 just controlled the match.

Unbelievable!!

To think this is the same team from 2 days ago.

I had already lost hope but now I'm really looking forward to the final match.

I think the lack of practice really hurt them before, but today they're looking their usual amazing team. Can't wait for the finals.

Edit: Another double FB for GBG Not one, but TWO double kills on bot lane for 4-0 they are looking like the old m5, before even 10 mins.

Second Double Kill!!

Oh snap 22 min surrender from AZB. Some amazing aggression by GBG that it scares me a bit.

Gambit using Eve to force 22 min surrender, and now goes 3 - 1 and a turret trade in under 5 mins.
