First episode is out.
Everyone has been moefied but they all pretty much look the same. Except Hakurou, who for some reason has a huge mustache. Not sure if there's a gag behind it or if there's another reason. It was pretty fun. Rimuru told Shion she's the perfect secretary when she doesn't talk and does nothing, meaning she is basically just eye candy. And she was super happy  Favorite bit was Shuna being Benimaru's sistermom.

The series tends to lean very much into slife-of-life but now we're upping the slice-of-life and comedy! Pretty nice, actually
 .Thank goodness they're not using this diary for another recap episode . Shion getting told she's a secretary not for her actual secretarial skills but because she's pretty...well, she took that better than I expected  .Oh hey, Kurobe! He got more scenes and lines in this one episode than he did the entirety of season 2  . Not surprised Benimaru's popular with the ladies...should be careful of his younger sister being his mother though  .Poor Gabiru's sister...she's stuck on Souei and his pretending he's omae wa mo shindeiru a cat, and her brother is such a goofball  .Hakurou with facial hair is...different  .Treyni running a bar and doling out advice when she's not taking care of the forest? Not a bad look for her  . The Opening is pretty fun, especially with the girls in swimsuits and yukata'as, and that scene with Rimuru and Milim looks absolutely adorable  .

Even in a slice-of-life Rimuru can feel a little listless with nothing to do. I guess he is probably more used to working from his old human life
.Gobta advocating for a Tempest hostess club. You heard it here, folks . It's nice to see Benimaru and Shuna at home and bonding as siblings, even if Shuna ends up kicking him out so she can clean and then makes sure he eats healthy .Geld is such a hit with the kids. It's adorable . So Kurobe can make something normal when he's asked to! It's just a little deflating when that turns out to be the case . Rimuru just can't win when it comes to Shion and food . Gabiru and company can't do anything without making it a performance, can they? Well, all the same that Souei can't do anything without making it look more epic than it actually is . Yeah, you'd think the Dryad would've been the perfect choice to ask to help plant stuff, but Gobta is the one who really dropped the ball with that comment about Treyni's weight .Those dwarves sure believe in the power of cute girls in work pants. Can't say they're wrong though  . Great Sage introduces us to the Ending, a fun, peppy, Ending that features the cast singing to skits of them in their daily lives mixed in with scenes from the actual episode. Including Veldora, the girls trying to dress up Bunny Girl Rimuru, and other fun times . That gag of Rimuru playing behind Shuna's back and then her catching him at the end was so sweet  .

I liked this episode a lot more than the first one! Not to say I disliked episode 1, though. I still need to get used to the different character designs but they're decently good - my favorite's probably Shion's.

Nothing says Summer in Tempest quite like sentient pseudo-sunflowers...that kind of look creepy with their one eye as their peering out at everybody
 .So Rimuru may have made Summer's in Tempest hotter through taking away Veldora and then cutting down trees to build the city...but sure, why not throw Veldora under the bus. He doesn't mind. He's too busy playing with Efreet. And can I just say how cute Veldora looks in this art style ? Rimuru trying to bring in some classic Japanese recreational fun during Summer to Tempest, although he didn't plan on how big the bugs get in this world .Stupid sexy and cute Rimuru in a water gun fight . Come to think of it, Shuna and Shion are pretty covered up in their outfits, although I guess it's not that much of a problem for Shion since she goes commando. Like, it's pretty clear she doesn't wear a bra, but she apparently doesn't have anything down there either  . Yeah, there is no one who can survive an endurance game involving Shion's cooking .Shion jealous over how close Rimuru and Ranga are to the point of wrestling with him. Then she and Shuna battle it out for who gets to have the most snuggle time with Rimuru . Kurobei needs a break otherwise he creates dangerous, eldrich, weapons  .Geld and little kids. What could be more adorable ?It's "march of the slimes" as Rimuru finally meets his brethren slimes as they come to Tempest. They can't quite form shapes like he can, but it was a fun meeting nevertheless . Oh, a new Ending! And sung by Miho Okasaki? She has a good voice . I was disappointed we only got to see Shion and Shuna in swimsuits for an imagine spot, but it looks like the next episode will make up for that .
