Anyway, back to the main topic, ADV will apparently be announcing a number of new acquisitions in the next few weeks, so I guess we'll wait and see. Whether they're the best company or not, I still think (based on their history) that they're the most likely to release a show like this one. Here's to hoping! |

I love this series At 1st, I really had no idea that Shiratori is 18 years old I like the most of the characters. Asami (whom I thought was 5 years old ) is one of my favourite. I like her cheerful personality & I really admire her. My most favourite scene is when Saki got beaten by Shiratori in the arcade game. As for the story, it's really heart-warming & I really enjoyed it
Umm...does anyone have a gif of Kozue eating the umeboshi? Last edited by rei; 2006-06-29 at 07:47. |

If you are enjoying the anime, then I highly recommend that you read the manga as well. The manga has better development for the characters as well as a conclusive ending.
It's not licensed yet (oddly) so you should be able to find scanlations. |

My favorite is a tie between Saki and Natsume .... but the occult club president is hilarious in her own way.
The manga series (japanese) finally finished this summer (12 volumes, one fanbook and one art book). The scanlations floating about are available up through volume 10 and parts of 11 but they aren't complete. The anime is great but the manga is one of my top three alltime favorites. Given the sort of stuff that does get licensed I simply cannot figure out why neither the anime nor manga have been licensed.

Seeming as though we're listing our fav's - mine have always been & shall keep on being Momono & Natsume. & with that in mind - i believe it time for a rewatch for the series to start. :3

None - the manga is serialized in a magazine that Square Enix publishes (the same magazine, I believe, that serializes Fullmetal Alchemist and serialized Spiral - but it's been a while since I checked).
It's weird for me that Square Enix publishes a manga magazine too - I've always meant to hunt up a copy in the Plano Japanese bookstores, but I always forget to do it.

Ah yes, this anime is one of my favorites. It's heart warming and funny with awsome characters and a great story. Kozueo's seiyu, Satomi ARAI just does a great job voicing for each her personalties nicely. My favorite girl is Kozue and Natsume because one is sweet and the other is a magical odd ball.

Nice to see this on the first page again. Where's mangatron?
My favorite in this show is definitely Kozue, and Arai Satomi. But I love Asano Masumi as a seiyuu, and if you like her as Momono, you might like to try out Otome wa Boku ni Koi Siteru, the new series, where she does what I think is a great job as Mariya, the hero(ine)'s confidante.
