anyway, last line of Enbi in chapter 2 part 3 make me guess she's the perperator and set him to fall to Nure Onna grasp.

^ what are you talking about? I'll gladly throw myself in the river if it's the price for being with a cute girl in a swimsuit for more than 1 hour ... jokes aside, that line is petty common with humoristic sadistic people, and that is whether they are involved with the incident or not (and it's even more common in full-on boke and tsukkomi comedy like this one), so I don't think she's really involved with it ... unless she's Senjougahara level that is >.>

Does the main character of chapter 1 come back after that? (A stupid question, considering the title of the LN, but just to make sure ~.~)

I got kind of worried that this turns out to be one of those collections of different short stories.

^ It's funny you said that 'cause the author's new work ("A simple questionnaire") might actually be an episodic series ... well, about your question, I guess you partially answered it yourself, but we can add some interesting trivia with that. Technically, Kamachi is not the kind to drop out a main protagonist but he really likes ceding the spotlight on the other ones from time to time though, so you need not to worry about that (he does that all the time

). And basically with this guy, what looks unrelated to each other are most of the time the pieces of a same bigger mystery, so beware

I didn't look at the illustrations yet, as I prefer to look at them as the story unfolds (in readable letters

You are certainly right about the author, I read the Toaru novels so I should have come to that conclusion myself :S Well, good to know that he will be back soon, as I took a liking to him. And his household youkai ^^
