About the possibility of Yu appearing in the next dungeon with an end-game Persona like Sandalphon (or godforbid, Zaou Gongen of Strength Arcana), we might need to consider his actual (in-game/in-universe) level. Uber-Personas like the two I mentioned take a fairly high level to summon... especially Zaou Gongen who needs... what, 90+ for Yu to even think of fusing him from other high-level Personas...

That being said, I still think anime Yu outstrips his manga and game incarnations just by getting through the dungeons with no weapon equips so far. It's not like you can unequip him in the game, but still. It's like the crew is using their Personas like a trainer would use their Pokemon.

Which is no problem for me, by the way.

We already had one persona which violated the level restrictions.

Are all the Personas that have appeared so far "Wild" as in they can be drawn through the cards after battles? Pretty sure Ara Mitama is and think Pyro Jack is as well.

Eh, I don't love harem endings except for certain cases. Think that there isn't a need to push it that far in this case. Lot of different characters and possible pairing options if people really want to have everyone paired up. I wouldn't mind them going ahead and having Yu get together with someone since it'd be interesting to see who they chose and how it'd look. Anyone unhappy can always just go and play the game anyways

. Possible they won't have the will to pick and just keep things general/harem, but we'll see.

The fact that they used Zigeunerweisen twice is awesome but I'm kind of getting annoyed that it's being referred to as "that Catherine theme".

As for the show, despite being rushed I'm rather impressed at how they handled the social links and characters. Perhaps this will be the first time SMT got a decent anime adaption?

I dunno, extra S Links not working for me so far. I guess that's mainly because in the game you get to do them over a long period of time, which gave you a sense of progression and it reflects reality, where bonds with other people take time to strengthen and mature. Cramming 2 within a span of an episode doesn't sit well with me, as a game player, but that's just gripes coming from game experiences.

Rise would just drag the MC into a life of paparazzi and insane stalker fans who want him dead for daring to touch their waifu. He would probably be dead within a year if he ever left that small town with her. Bad end for all.

Chie is obviously the #1 choice here. There's really no downside. To disagree would make you look very foolish, don't even bother.

You're talking about Yu here. He can handle a few stalkers or a hundred, no problem. I agree with Orion, it would spice his life up. It's not a downside at all. +1 point for Rise

... by the way, I'm not sure we should be talking about a character that hasn't even been introduced yet.
