Another abrupt ending. Yup, KyoAni isn't really worrying about ending and starting normally with this arc. Kind of interesting since this is the movie-making story. I bet Haruhi thought it was a good idea. >_>

THANK HARUHI.
But yeah, I thought that it was well done today.
The background was much better.

The overall artstyle has once again significantly gone up this episode. You can kinda tell what animation team KyoAni uses these days can you?

This episode had a much better and more CLANNAD like animation. If only they kept this style the whole way through instead of switching things wouldnt look so inconsistent.

But the episode itself was pretty damn good.

Nice episode. I liked the de ja vu feeling. I kept remembering Episode 00.

I din't expected Mikuru Beam this week anyway, so it was no issue for me. What I was expecting was a flashback for Kyon and Haruhi meeting at the end of Melancholy. Maybe a DVD extra? They couldn't have skiped it could they? Is a very important part of Sighs, not showing it is ecen a plot hole.

PS: I lost some few minutes right on the middle of the episode. So I might have just mssed the flashback... Sorry if is the case (just ignore the post).

It's not a plot hole. They will just change it from "Haruhi learned that from Kyon" to "Haruhi guessed that completely on her own". Major point, I agree, but still...
They had chance to show it today, but they decided not to. Oh well.

The plot hole is not because of Sighs, is because the end of Melancholy. Kyon said he would tell her about Aliens, Time Travelers and ESPers. Without this scene this statement make no sense.

Ugh, this episode was cool, but the lack of the flashback is still bothering me. I might enjoy it better whant I watch with subs, this time knowing there is no flashback.

Doesn't need a flashback until Kyon takes blame for the characters roles. And even then, we know he was going to tell her at the end of Episode 6. The only addition to that would be her denial of what he was telling her.

Oh. Well, can we take games as anime canon? Because that scene was in one of the games. ._.

Yah, well the author wrote the last episodes, and (did he write this episode) so I think he knows what hes doing. The author is obviously very involved with this arc, and I think he will make things work out.

Lol, I like this. I mean, the light novel does tend to flow alot better. Maybe that was the idea this time. Maybe that's why they started the episode where they left off, to emulate that flow.

If the author is doing this, then hey! Look at that. >.<

It changed nothing; they'll probably just show it later. When Kyon saw the roles his thoughts included the line "Ore no sei?!" Basically, it translates to "(Is this) My fault?!" They haven't shown the scene yet, but he obviously told Haruhi.

Well, if you really think about it, it is.
I still enjoyed that Koizumi's "Freak-out" face.

Being hampered by my lack of ability to understand moonspeak, I can only comment on the animation of the episode. And it seemed much better this week, compared to last week. People moved and blinked this week, the backgrounds were nice, and everything seemed to flow well. Now to wait (impatiently) for the subs to come out.
