Just read 25.
King dominating the Holy Knight.
Was his sin to interfere with the human kingdom? It's definitely not good if the fairy king himself violates that agreement.
Ban just went up in the ranking, not only did he go after King's sister, but she was also a princess?

Honestly, I had the impression that Mel was holding back. Remember how in the last arc we saw that mark appear on his head when that one holy knight tried to steal his sword? I think that's supposed to be his "full power" mode. And for all we know, the rest of the sins might have a similar feature.....

I think Mel`s power is link to his anger and I don`t think it`s pretty when he goes all-out...
In the no friend or foes sense.
And he gave Ban a wound that he couldn`t recover from, leaving him with a scar.

Besides there is more to be a good captain than power, right ?

^Yeah, I pretty much figure he's like the Incredible Hulk or something. Like the more pissed off he gets, the more powerful he becomes. It would only be appropriate for the sin of wrath, right?

That being said, I hope that he DOES transform into a hulking beast at the peak of his powers, with an appearance not unlike Akira's Arakure Mode from Kongou Banchou.

Edit: Okay, I checked out chapter 27 (though it's counted as 26 here, probably because the previous chapter was a special one):

I have a theory of Mel's sin. He was noted in the first chapter to look a lot different than his wanted poster.

I'm guessing that a long time ago he killed the kid whose body he now inhabits with the sword he carries. The kid probably had the same set of rules Mel now lives by, and was always smiling. Mel took up both those things in an effort to atone.

Yes, I rather enjoyed the flashback, myself. But that being said, I wonder if we'll get a flashback chapter for King, as well? Basically one that details the reasons why he abandoned his sister for all those centuries.....?

Considering what we were told about King, I'm guessing there was no other way but to have her be the guardian.

I actually hope we get more flashbacks for each of the sins xD

Me too, of course.

But at the moment it seems that King may have the deepest history among them (especially when you consider his age), so I'm most interested in learning about his past next.

I actually think that his broken sword look alot like legendary sword Gram that is broken and his sin have dragon in it lead me to believe that perhaps his sin is for killing dragon.

Well, with this chapter the translations are now caught up with the weekly releases. There's no new raw this week since all the magazines are on holiday, I believe. Still, I eagerly await the next arc!

We get one line from Eli about her sister and there she is...

It seems King is the one with the most common sense.

Edit: Okay, I checked out chapter 27 (though it's counted as 26 here, probably because the previous chapter was a special one): Spoiler for chapter 27: Geez, not only did Geera (holy knight chick) survive King's attack, but she STILL had the energy to attack him! However, Mel counters her, which forces her out of the capital of the dead. The rest of the party disappears as well, and Elaine says her goodbyes to both Ban and King as they do..... When they return to the realm of the living, they encounter the defeated Geera. However, it also seems the two children they left at the village died, as well. Afterwards, the group chats, and King gives Elizabeth a proper introduction after finding out she's a princess (a lol-worthy scene, indeed! ). We then cut back to Geera, who encounters her superior (I think his name's something like Helbram? I'm not sure). He finds her tied to a tree, and it seems the sins have left a rather.... unique parting gift on her. XD Back to the sins, we pretty much find out why they had so much trouble against Geera prior to King's arrival: It seems that they lack their sacred weapons. When King asks what happened to them, we get the following answers: Diane's was lost, Ban's was stolen, and Mel sold off his! Last edited by marvelB; 2013-04-22 at 16:14.
