It was being offered on the NA server as part of various bundles since US Thanksgiving, to the point where it couldn't really be considered "rare" if you had at least $50 to spend. It's gone again for now, but they'll probably trot it back out again after a few months.
Just killed a Flaktoaster and a Bathtub with the Pz IC. The Flaktoaster is easy as long as its very good traverse can be negated. The S35 has horrible traverse—I managed to carousel it in reverse—but its armor can at least handle some hits. Dumped the second clip entirely into the back of the ammo rack. |

Ah, that explains it.
Slowly working on levelling my T18. I've decided that instead of Seal Clubbing, I'm going to work up the US TD line to get to the Hellcat, and work on the T1 Heavy to get to the M6. After that I'll stop. Might get a T34 for credit making next month - I have heard lots of good things about it. But aside from that, I ain't moving any higher than tier 6.

Finally got this upgrade out of the way after a lot of WN7- and WR-hosing pain grind with the basic 152...
Though this means I'm going to find some other project to mess with, most likely bringing my replacement crews up to speed. Also, I'm seriously doubting that I'll ever actually use the M46 Patton, which so far I have not sunk too much free XP into upgrading, but I also have not played one game in it because showing up without the final turret and gun will be counterproductive. However, right now I am entirely off using gold for significant amounts (Another 68K? Hell no.) of free XP conversion. Trying to save cash. Main question being if there's any real purpose to the M46 anymore, aside from view range. |

I`m gonna retake my mantle of mid-long range sniper. I already have my Tetrach ready to train Russian LT crew. Starting tomorrow, I`ll be buying IS-6 since I already familiarized myself with Russian heavy tanks I think I`ll gonna go with Russian HT MT and TD, US heavy and TD(turreted and non turreted) , and German MT and TD(both lines). I don`t fare well in playing French tanks

8.11 Public Test is out.
Comprehensive list of tier 10 TD changes in 8.11: Foch 155 - engine nerfed from 1200 to 1000hp - AP/HEAT alpha nerfed from 850 to 750 - gold ammo pen nerfed from 408 to 395 - various changes in armor Waffenträger auf E-100 - hull traverse nerfed from 30 to 26 - aim spread when turning turret for 128mm gun increased by 212 percent, for 150mm by 75 percent - turret traverse nerfed from 24 to 22 T110E3 - reload buffed from 18,3 to 17 secs - alpha reduced from 850 to 750 T110E4 - reload buffed from 21 to 19,5 secs - alpha reduced from 850 to 750 Object 268 - hull turnrate nerfed from 30 to 28 - aim spread caused by moving increased by 11 percent - aim spread caused by turning increased by 11 percent - maximum reverse speed nerfed from 18 to 15 km/h - reload time buffed from 17 to 16,5s - alpha nerfed from 850 to 750 - gold penetration nerfed from 450 to 395 I approve of the WTE100 nerfs; it is now easier to be flanked by mediums and lights like a TD should, but it still keeps the high accuracy that it deserves. The E3 and E4 are virtually just as good as before, and the increased rate of fire can be arguably advantageous for near front line fighters. It remains to see if the Object 268 will still be a good TD, but it wasn't hit nearly as bad as the Foch 155, which might not even be meta anymore. Also, hurray for the glorious FV183 being untouched! |

I'm still curious as to what the classwide TD nerfs will look like, since those haven't happened yet.
The funny thing about it is, at least on the German side... I have a JP2. You can't nerf its camouflage, it doesn't have any. The Roomba might be worse off for a camo nerf, but the Roomba is also very short and has a fully-rotating turret. But yeah, it might be bad for the ISUbigasahouse. Except that'll probably be saved by Soviet Bias. Also, still waiting for opinions on whether the M46 is worth bothering with. |

Getting 50 kills on American tanks in a day is proving to be surprisingly difficult since for the most part the number of US tanks has not been unusually high in my games. Then again, it's only 6:30 PM Eastern so far.
I'm still playing for my first five cases of cola, which I'll probably never use, instead adding them to the giant unused food stock in my depot. |

My computer has reached the point where I have to close essentially everything else in order to get decent fps, and even then the CPU fan will whine like it's hellbent on generating enough heat for spontaneous combustion. And when I do sit down and ready my machine to get some tanking done, I tend to find that I'm either too tired to play competently or none of my teams are. WoT is probably going to become a purely weekend thing for the foreseeable future, and I'll probably end up among the ranks of the 5x noobs.

Turning off chat in 8.11 disables all chat except platoon chat, map pings, and shortcut signals (Reloading!). Anything you enter into the chatbox will automatically be directed to your platoonmates.

No more "good luck have bacon"? No more "how's the KV-1S"? No more "which makes better credits, IS-5 or Loe?" No more "I am a rl vet, listen to me and get the high ground"? This calls for an actual celebration. |

My 30-second-timer banter is occasionally funny, though...
Almost got a Scout medal on Northwest with the combo of a Sherman and Coated Optics... unfortunately the other team collapsed so quickly that I couldn't get to the other end of the map in time to spot their one remaining SPG. (And this wasn't a suiscouting run, I ended up having to spend time fighting a cluster of TDs and a 3001H.) |
